Like all Byers product this frame mounted storage box is excellent quality and should last a lifetime. My quibble is with the lousy way it was packaged. It came in a tight fitting cardboard box with one 3" wide strip of paper thin foam wrapped around the middle of the item. This foam was not adequate enough to keep the sides of the box from rubbing on the cardboard and as a result all 6 sides of the storage box are burnished as if someone took 220 grit sandpaper to it. I guess I'll have to hit it with some black Rustolium before installing it since, if I return it, with their poor packaging, the replacement will probably be the same or worse.

Ive purchased several of the Buyers brand tool boxes for flatbeds I build and the materials are always high quality. The latches and hinges are heavy duty. Very well built tool boxes!

Great boxes, seals great and good pricing. Matches my 8 yo one exactly.

This lock box fits my needs perfectly, with only one exception: the keyholes. Maybe they just need to be broken in, but getting the key into the hole has been ridiculous! I added multi-purpose grease which helps after the key is already inserted, but it's still a bear to get the spring-loaded slide over the keyhole to move out of the way. The issue is identical on both locks. Otherwise, the box is awesome! It arrived WITHOUT dents or scuffs or smashed corners, unlike what has been reported multiple times by other reviewers. I'm anticipating getting many years of use out of this beast. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only for the keyhole problem.

They made my delivery signature required only and never notified me that it would be required. They also locked it so ups can not change it. I needed my delivery today and now I am going to be behind on delivering my product that requires their toolbox. They need to confirm with their customers that a signature is something they want before assigning it and making their customers wait all day for the delivery. Really unhappy with their decision.

Arrived in excellent condition and on time. Tight hinges, water seal and lock. No dents or paint damage. Bought at $353.99 in the end of April. If the price drops I'll be picking up a second one but not at $429, really don't understand a $75 price jump in a month.

They are 14 gauge and have a great door system with the T handle and great seals. They make nice boxes
