It works! I was very surprised but after cleaning off the wooden track this adhered nicely and makes the drawers pull smoothly on the old desk that I refinished. I don't know about durability but this was certainly easier than applying candle wax.

I used this for some garage cabinet drawers. It works great. My drawers are 16 inches wide 18 deep one strip full length of each slide and bottom of drawers sanded. My test was putting a full 25 lbs box of screws in one of the drawers. I was surprised I could slide it open and closed with one finger. Definitely would recommend

I’m making a CD storage cabinet out of plywood and white oak. Since the carcass of the cabinet and the drawers are entirely made of wood, reducing the friction between drawer and carcass are important. This tape is a perfect solution.

I have a couple of older wooden dressers with drawers that had gotten rough and squeaky over the years. Applied this tape to the bottom edges of the drawer sides where they contact the runners and the difference was immediate. Drawers that used to stick and groan now slide open smoothly without any effort.Application is simple enough. Clean the surface, cut the tape to length, peel and stick. It adheres well and has not shown any signs of lifting after a few months of daily use. The half inch width is a good size for most drawer runners and two rolls gives you plenty to cover several drawers with some to spare.It is worth noting this is a fabric-style low friction tape rather than a hard UHMW plastic tape, so the feel and performance are slightly different from that type. For wood-on-wood contact in furniture drawers it works very well, but if you are looking for something harder and slicker for a specific workshop application you may want to factor that in. For the price and the intended use, it absolutely does the job.

Works so well for old wooden dresser drawers! We recently started using an old family heirloom dresser for my daughters' clothes, and the drawers were so hard to move that they had to really struggle to get their clothes out. With this tape, the drawers glide with ease and the girls haven't had any more problems getting their clothes by themselves. I've also used this on top of curtain rods to help curtain rings glide across the rod easily and smoothly.

we have a significant bump in our curtain rod and it is difficult to open and close. This definitely helped but it is still not what I would call a “glide”. Definitely an improvement though and I love that it came in this copper color that blends in nicely with our brushed brass curtain rod.

I use this for all my shop cabinet wood drawer slides. Adheres well to my edge banding. Drawers move nicely, even with a heavy load.
