The product is easy but time consuming to lay. It is supposed to have a weed killer additive to it. I notice after two weeks of the sand being laid there are weeds growing between the paviour blocks . So not so weed proof.

Its called NO GROW. On the contrary. I Wasted money buying two bags after reading the views on here. They definitely must have been written by AI as the drive and pathway looks like its not been touched in months. I thought I would leave a review until I saw how good/or bad this product would do its job. (Time wasted) its the worst weed stopper I've ever used. (Well in my opinion it is) I would not waste your hard earned money on it. Although it does fill the gaps between the bricks, That's about all its good for. I wont be giving it any stars. I gave it one as you cant leave a review if you don't.

Still found weeds grow through after using on my drive.

Brushed in within minutes of receiving it but it goes no where! Bought a 20KG bag for £21.59 and didn't want to wait for another Amazon order as was 2 day lead time and we have rain forecast in the next few days. Searched locally and Wickes selling it at £14 per 20KG bag so felt a bit miffed I didn't search around initially. Bought two more bags for £28 and will finish the job tomorrow. Spent all week jet washing the drive after work, which is over 20 years old, so really hopeful this sand does the trick preventing weed regrowth as its an annual job we dread. I'll update review in a few weeks.

No ever doing resending of my drive before al I can say is delivered on time did what it was supposed to do but next time I’ll get someone else to do it

First 18 slabs at front of house steps(slight slope) cleaned and filled with DANSAND NO WEED during April 2015. Until October 4 grass weeds had seeded. The seed probably blown from nearby lawn. Three have now died November, and the fourth is "struggling" and on its way "out". Some moss has established on the surface of the joins due to a very wet period but it too is "struggling" to survive and is not spreading. The 63 , 2 feet square slabs at the rear of the house have produced only two weeds, close to the lawn, in the period May to November. Approximately 1000 mono block joints were cleaned and filled with DANSAND (also at the rear of the house) and these are showing only two struggling grass weeds by November 11th. Again, some moss has TRIED to establish itself in the wettest spots but is STRUGGLING and seems contained. CONCLUSION:- DANSAND specify users to be meticulous in preparing joints to be filled. With hindsight, using an industrial vacuum would have been ideal. H[ring one for intermittent use would probably have been prohibative and the cheapest one to buy at £92.00 would certainly have helped me with my disability problems as I cleaned all the joints sitting on a plastic chair shuffling myself around. The results have far exceeded my expectations so far and I look forward to a weed free 2016 . I wore out 6 wire scratch brushes and one bannister brush, All well worth it. I was surprised at how fine the sand was and when poured into the gaps it flowed like water getting in to every space. Very pleasant and easy to work with.
