I don't know where to begin with this great time saving product! My dog recently had the displeasure of getting a small and medium size tick on her paw, a sensitive area for her. Thank God we use Nexgard, so we're just removing the corpse of the attached tick. However, no local stores had any kits so I opted to order this one based on the reviews and, same day delivery. The item was delivered, no issues and finally the moment of truth. Upon opening they had pretty straight forward directions, once you have the v-shaped device in place you just pull upward once you have a good grip on the base of the tick, NO twisting! When I tell you I was absolutely stunned at how quick this process was for my dog, I couldn't believe it. I thanked God because this is so stressful for heramd this allowed us to quickly get the job done. I also used the included tweezers to check the area but it was such a clean pull, NOTHING REMAINED! We’ve had this for a few years, and have had to use on several occasions. The tweezers are grippy, and they are great at getting ticks out.

We live in the woods and have bear, bobcats, fox, deer, coyote, and other critters come through the property all the time. Ticks are just part of the scenery. We also hike all over New England. It’s been another record year for ticks, so I wanted to update all our “tick safety” stuff. This kit is well-made and has exactly the tools needed to pull a whole tick off successfully. Super easy to use and small enough to store in a glovebox, safety kit, or your pocket. It comes with some tick ID info in the box, too. I’m buying these for all my family as stocking stuffers for Christmas.

Good quality set, easy to use, and inexpensive to purchase. Tweezer has curved and small ends that enable you to grab just the head of a tick to pluck them off without squeezing the tick's body. The second tool is basically a scraper with a v-slot to catch the tick's head. This tool also would not put pressure on the body of a tick.

I can’t believe how fast this removes ticks. Our dog had a tick and we ran to grab tweezers, it took longer than imagined and we thought we broke off the head accidentally so ended up at the emergency vet clinic for confirmation. Turns out we got the whole tick out head and all thankfully. However I didn’t like how we were pulling on our dogs hair at the same time trying to remove the tick plus it felt like all we were doing was squeezing its body with tweezers so I found this tick removal kit and ordered it for future use. Fast forward two weeks and we found a tick on our other dog 😭. I ran and grabbed tweezers bcuz I forgot I ordered this product. My husband struggled removing the tick and then I remembered - I ran to grab this kit, handed it to him and the tick was out within a few seconds. Literally seconds. Head in tact no worries about it being broken and still in the skin. All of us were amazed at how easy it was. I have to deprogram my brain from tweezers to this tick remover kit. It really works!

Handy kit, with all the essentials including a tick-identifying card. Thankfully I haven't had to use the kit yet, but glad to have it on hand.

The forked tongue end worked better than I expected. It’s thinner than my other one. But still stiff. The polished finish helps it slide under the tick better. I have one of those ’tick keys’ but they are only good when the tick is easily accessible.

Unfortunately I got Lyme disease from a tick bite last year so I am super careful not to pick up another bite. We spend a lot of time in fields in south west England so we do get a lot of ticks on our clothes and I recently had two on my body. (how do they do it? they are so sneaky, I am so careful with tucking trousers into socks etc>) One had begun to burrow into me near my navel, which is a favourite hiding place. This tick removing tool is marvellous. It is so easy to use, even with shaky hands! My husband had a tick on him last week, a tiny one no bigger than a poppy seed. The tweezers enabled me to extract it with no problem at all. No fiddling about, giving it time to burrow. I would highly recommend this tool. Well worth the money. Don't buy plastic! Only suitable for dogs!
