Fantastic travel wheeled-carryon and backpack
If you want a quality and reliable carry on bag with wheels that can convert to a backpack then this Osprey bag is for you! So many compartments to put clothing and items in plus a metal ID tag to always track your bag on trips. Has hip supports so carrying a backpack is less stress on your back.

Holds a lot but still easy to handle
I bought this to take on a trip to Europe and could not be more pleased. It is well made and sturdy but not heavy. Easy to maneuver. I never use this as a carry on, although it meets the size requirements. It looks small but it holds a ton of stuff! Everything I needed for a 2-week trip fit, no problem. I am a small female and over 60, but when it was fully packed I had no trouble handling it all by myself: in and out of cars, on trains, up/down stairs, etc. Highly recommend.

Fantastic rolling duffel bag
I have other Osprey backpacks & used just a Farpoint 70 during a 7 week trip thru the UK, Ireland & central France. That bag took a beating, still looks & wears like new & sold me on Osprey bags. I’ve used that one & a couple smaller Osprey backpacks on trips since then. After a couple surgeries, I needed a wheeled bag for an upcoming 3 week trip to Netherlands & Germany. Of course I checked Osprey! I’ve used this 22” / 45L wheeled Shuttle on a couple weekend trips. It packs easily, the Daylite daypack attaches to it & it rolls easily, even up & down stairs & over curbs. The external compression sleeves work great compressing an overstuffed bag. I definitely recommend not just this wheeled duffel but Osprey overall. In fact. I’m seriously considering getting the Osprey Sojourn Shuttle wheeled backpack.

looks great! light weight
I purchased this as a discount, "like new." It had it's tags still upon it and I saved $80, yay. the suitcase is waaaay more than a duffle bag. It is light weight, it has the capacity to get smaller and tighter when not filled. I know I am going to travel more often so, I sprung for Osprey, one of my favorite companies. I also am heartened to know it fulfills international travel requirements. If you have ever been dinged by one of the smaller less expensive international flights, it's a true bummer. I love this suitcase/duffel/carry on

Perfect for my two week trip to Italy
This was great. I bought it since my friend was bringing a backpack on our trip to Italy and I was torn between the convenience of rolling luggage and the possible necessity of using a backpack. It turned out that my friend regretted bringing her backpack, and I was happily rolling along the whole time. As I left earlier than she did, we traded luggage so she could enjoy this backpack for the rest of her trip while I brought her cumbersome backpack home with me.

None better
There are no better bags than Osprey. This one is no exception.

Good back with negligible caveats.
Short version: I really like this bag and what it's going to do for me on future trips. I can recommend it if you pack for 4-7 day trips and are looking for something more robust and flexible at the same time. It's well thought out and really let's you organize your space as you please. If you like having sections and specific spots to put your stuff this is not the bag for you. That being said I would wait until it's under $300. Long review because this can be seen as a big purchase. I have brought this bag on 3 local trips, no flights yet. Not worried about flight restrictions after comparing my old travel bag to the Osprey stuffed full. I can stuff the thing to the brim and then keep packing more by stuffing from the top. The jacket system does good work. The fact that it's essentially a backpack strapped to a trolley is great - we know the bag is going to be good (definitely feels like it is) and I can only hope the trolley holds up. So far it seems like a sturdy system after going over a long gravel driveway and generally rolling/throwing it around. I chose this over the backpack version because I didn't think I would actually use it as a backpack that often. This bag makes better use of the unused space behind the frame. Pro's: -Big soft handles (top one is the length of the entire bag) -Pocket on the bag - great for light jackets or other small things you need quickly -Large capacity- pack it to the brim and then keep stuffing from the top -Awesome zippers - they are big and don't snag. Closing the bag is easy even with a lot of items. -Jacket system - Good for compression and takes some stress off the main bag zippers. It also hides the main bag zipper from the sides. There are extra buckle clips that are integrated towards the back side of the bag that you can use to make the bag smaller when not in use. -Handle extension is operated by the entire handle - This ended up being a cool feature. You squeeze the whole handle to unlock the handle extension. -Empty space - Pro for me. I prefer to arrange the whole bag myself. The zippered pockets inside can take up some of the usable space when used. -Replaceable parts. The wheels can be taken out with a hex wrench. Osprey's support is great and will try to help with parts if something else breaks. They will even fix ripped fabrics. Cons: -Can be difficult to carry - The bag doesn't have an even weight distribution when fully loaded (or really at all). There is a concave portion about 1/3rd down from the top on the back side. This changes the weight distribution compared to a regular roller bag - when carrying from the top the whole bag leans over and the wheels will tend to hit your legs. -Handle doesn't lock at half extension. It's all or nothing. Neither pro nor con: -No regular bag tag. TSID is cool but nothing really beats a printed name and contact info. You can make your own and put it in the ID pocket on the back or just buy one. -Inner zipper mesh pockets along the sides should be split in half. Yes I'm being a bit of a hypocrite compared to the rest about of the review (space and freedom) but here me out. Items in these pockets slide down to the bottom of the bag. They are also very long as they run the whole length of the bag. Splitting it in half would help with organization a bit more when those are in use. -Can't rest my ski boot bag on top. It ain't flat :( -Top pocket: I haven't found the right use for it yet. It's meant for a toiletry bag and I'll try to use it for that next time. I was using it for smaller items but it's pretty large and eats into the main bag space significantly.
