Is this meant to be a liquid or gel? My old tap safe was a liquid but this is coming out like gel 🤔

I used to work in a pet shop & have had fish for years, iv never seen tap safe as a gel, if it's not devolving quickly I'd recommend binning it.

Where i live, the water is very hard, what can i add to make it safe for the fish ?

Get fish tank water conditioner, like aquarium tap water safe.

does this remove copper

It removes all chemical elements including copper

Will applying the conditioner after the water change have any effect on its effectiveness? Thanks

It’s best to add it to the fresh water you are adding during your water changes
