Lighter works really well! Great gift for family or friends in my opinion

As a heavy smoker saving on lighters is always needed, this lighter was great, combated against the wind and lit everything quickly and thoroughly.That lasted for exactly one week. After that, while smoking one night, the lighter seemed to malfunction and stopped working. After that the light on the lighter would not turn off and would not hold a charge.Plasma lighters are simply amazing but completely useless if they do not hold a charge.Don’t waste your time with this one though

Came charged lasted 4 days without recharge smoking a pack a day round abouts. No more Turing off the heat/a.c. when driving to light a smoke and no more flicking a bic 3 or 4 times in the tree stand because it's to cold and making excess noise. Good weight and size I think people will be very happy with this.

The lighter worked great at first, generally 20-30 uses per charge at around 4-5 seconds a spark. However, my friend used it and held it down for about 7 seconds (it says to use for around 7 seconds at most) and the damn battery fried instantly. Left a HORRIBLE burnt battery smell in my backpack and put off toxic fumes. My advice is use it 2-4 seconds at a time AT MOST. Otherwise you're basically asking for it to break.

After a couple months of occasional, infrequent usage, it's lights refuse to turn off and the button does nothing.When it functioned, it had decent battery and did well for lighting small, flat surface areas, but due to it's eventual failure, I don't recommend ever buying it. Save yourself the money and the trouble, and go buy a Bic

The media could not be loaded. Overall the design was great, loved the gold and engraved dragon design this ELighter features. However.. function wise.. it worked well, for a week. had attempted to use it outdoors to light a torch outside my patio which worked fine.. but short circuited in the wind.. the lighter heated up..and all power drained. Wasn’t the end of the world however as it was able to charge back up. THIS TIME, I had gone to light a candle. My fan was on and the wind got to it again.. funnily enough these are supposed to be weather proof.. it short circuited once more, and THIS TIME almost blew up in my hand. I heard the battery and internals inside pop, sputter and sizzle.. the outside heated up much more and a strange smell began to emanate from the lighter. I quickly threw it to the side in an attempt to save my hand from blowing off as if it’s a blown battery.. it’s in a metal case and could blow like a bomb due to the pressure it can cause.After while I came back to it and took the video. The button melted, the metal is hot and the lighter is now deemed useless.After while I opened it up (I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE DOING THIS) and apon further investigation, it seems that one of the wires melted off during the said short circuit. The battery is intact. However, the lighter is still deemed unfixable.Furthermore, what this rating is implying is to be very careful with these lighters. As you never know how durable the battery or the internals can be. More or less, it worked great for a week, but one small amount of wind caused it to nearly blow twice. At this point, I’d say a regular lighter is the safer route.
