Buy for convience, not sound
the title says it all. airpod pros are great in all aspects other than sound quality. the sound isnt bad, dont get me wrong, but its just not great. it sounds good enough for everything from music to videos and phone calls. if there was a custom eq, that would literally make these the undisputed earbuds in all aspects. I actually prefer my knockoff $70 earbuds for music. i love bass and these things have none, despite having 10mm drivers. unless you are an audiophile or you plan to only use these earbuds to listen to music in your room, then these are for you. In all other aspects, these buds are great, especially if you have an iphone. the transparency mode is great (you can customize it in your phones settings once you click on your buds in the bluetooth section) and so is the conversation awareness. i wanted buds that were versatile since i wanted to use them on the move. These also have industry leading noise cancellation (all noise cancellation doesnt eliminate all sound, just background sound and muffles loud sounds). their adaptive NC is also pretty cool. not enitrely noticable until you turn on the fan in the bathroom or turn on water in your sink; then the ANC kicks in. works well in busy enviroments. spacial audio is kinda cool, makes sound fun as you play around. works really well with movies, but for music i turn it off. only buy if you plan on using these for more than music, but also videos and podcasts and such. dont buy if you plan to only use them at home. these are great when your on the go or on a worksite. if you want really good earbuds strictly for listening to music in your home, then check out the status between 3 ANC eatbuds. they look bulky but for a good reason. sound is out of thsi world, bass, mids, and treble thanks to its triple driver system.they also have transparency and noise cancelling, just not as good as apple. get them for serious music listening, get airpod pro 2s for convenience and on the go.

Really really really good.***Update***
I am a rare duck in the tech space as I really don't have a preference between Android and iOS. I have traditionally carried an Android phone and used Apple tablets and laptops. I just honestly find Samsung's innovation in hardware more intriguing. That said, I recently bought a new iPhone 15 Pro for a second phone to leave in my house and saw these new Airpods on sale, so I scooped them. The move to USBC convinced me I need to try both. I have used darn near every credible earbud that has come to market in the last four years. Sony, Bose, B&W, Anker, Apple, Beats, Sennheiser, and many others. I have been chasing the perfect set. I think I found them here or, at the very least, found the closest thing there is to perfection. Here are my thoughts on the new Airpods Pro2: Sound: This is the one area that they don't win hands down, but they sound great. Many of my buds feature larger more well tuned drivers. Some even have dual drivers. Many have the option to upscale to more lossless sound by using AptX. None of that is here, but what Apple has done with sound is commendable. There is good separation between the highs, mids, and lows. Unlike previous Airpods, these things bring a very solid low end that can rumble a bit. I am not an audiophile, but these sound really good. I still think that the new Sony buds and Sennheiser buds are better but it isn't a landslide. Apple has nailed it with active noise cancelling here as well. While the Bose Quiet Comfort buds are still the GOAT for me, these are at least as good as the runner up from Sony. These block out all but the most sudden noises. Really good all around. Call quality: These are easily the best there is for calls. It really isn't close. They do an unbelievable job of masking background noise so folks on the other end can hear you. I was on a call with a friend who was using them as well and his son was in the background gaming. He was yelling at the game and, occasionally when he spoke, I could pick up on it a bit, but only when he spoke. The processing here is just so good. Form Factor: I hate stem style buds generally, but these are solid. They are light and have real balance in the ear. I think because the Pro's have silicone tips they just work better for me. The squeeze functionality makes these so accurate to use when compared to others that rely on tapping and the swipe volume control is really outstanding. For my ears, and this is subjective for sure, these are all day comfortable. You get a solid IP54 water and dust resistance, so these will hold up well in the gym. Battery Life: These are average in this space when compared with their peers. I am getting about five hours on bud. You get another three to four charges from the case. Many others are better here, but I find battery life to be perfectly acceptable for everyday use. Intangibles: There are almost too many things to mention here. First, the case is, as always, the best in the business. It is tiny, solid, packs a great battery, and has the most satisfying magnetic click when closing. I love the spatial audio. It is gimmicky but really fun when it is executed properly during a show or movie. The speech detection is amazing. As is the easy pairing and use on the iPhone. Find my buds is the BOMB. There is so much more that I will update later. These are very well thought out. Conclusion: For me, Apple has crushed it here. Having FINALLY moved to USBC (even if it took the EU to force them) makes all Apple things so much better. These buds might not be the best at much, but they are very good at everything. I can honestly say that these are the best buds on the market. Will I use others for different occasions? Yes, but I doubt that as long as I have an iPhone, I will use many of them often. Buy these now with complete and total confidence. Wow Apple, just wow! Well done! ***Update*** So, I am three weeks in with these and I have a couple of other thoughts I should add. First, the thing that jumps off the page to me is the speaker built into the case. I have owned dozens of buds and this is a first to me. It is awesome. The case chimes when the buds are properly returned to the case. You get a low battery notification and it is also used to “find my AirPods.” It is simply brilliant and an example of how thoughtful some of Apple’s designs are. The case is simply next level and that means more than most people think since you interact with it regularly. The other thing that stands out is how much customization there is and how intuitive it is to set up in your settings. Sony offers similar customization and, in some ways more, but it takes a lot more work. Like I said, there are better options for a lot of things, but the polish and attention to detail here from Apple make these a clear winner overall. If you are on the fence, don’t be. I will update with anything else but these are easily the best all around buds on the market. Buy with confidence

Love My Apple products
The Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) Wireless Earbuds with USB-C Charging are a notable upgrade in Apple's lineup of audio accessories. Here's a brief review covering their key features and potential downsides: Pros: Enhanced Audio Quality: The 2nd generation AirPods Pro are known for their improved sound quality, offering richer bass and clearer highs compared to their predecessors. Active Noise Cancellation: These earbuds feature advanced active noise cancellation, allowing for an immersive audio experience by effectively blocking out external noise. Comfort and Fit: They come with multiple sizes of silicone tips, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for a wide range of ear shapes and sizes. USB-C Charging: The move to USB-C charging enhances compatibility with newer charging standards and devices, making them more versatile. Battery Life: They offer a good battery life, both in terms of playtime per charge and overall battery longevity, which is a significant consideration for wireless earbuds. Cons: Price: As with many Apple products, the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen come with a premium price tag, which might be a deterrent for some potential buyers. Limited Customization: The customization options, in terms of both physical appearance and sound profiles, are relatively limited compared to some competitors. Compatibility: While they work best with Apple products, some features may be limited when used with non-Apple devices, affecting their versatility for users outside the Apple ecosystem. Overall, the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with USB-C Charging are a high-quality choice for those invested in the Apple ecosystem, offering excellent sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort. However, their price and some limitations in customization and cross-platform compatibility are factors to consider.

HUGE improvement over the previous generation.
The first time I heard these I wasn't that impressed with them over the first generation ones I had. Fast forward a year later and my 1st gen pros broke and had to replaced. Buying this was the next logical step as Apple would've charged about half of what these cost to fix them so I got these. And BOY was I wrong about these. Initial impressions are a bit lackluster as the sound quality isn't THAT much better than the 1st gens but the noise cancellation, battery life, the case, and everything else about them is MUCH better. That alone I think warrants an upgrade in my opinion and had I known they were that much better I would have upgraded much sooner than waiting for my first ones to break. The bass response is still lacking in my opinion and there still isn't a way to adjust the eq other than selecting preset ones in the settings app but music quality is a bit better. Notes pop a little more than the first gens and things seem a bit clearer. Noise cancellation is MILES better than the first generation and the adaptive setting as well as the conversation awareness setting is a very nice feature to have. The inclusion of USB-C is a fantastic quality of life improvement and the case just feels more rigid than before. Its also much easier to find your case now that they have speakers and better find my support but by far the best part about these is the battery life. They seem to last nearly as long as the older ones but when they're not in your ear and just sitting on your desk for a while they hold their charge much better than before and they also seem to charge a lot quicker as well. Overall, knockout product from Apple yet again. It isn't perfect but its as close to it as it gets and thats why this gets 5 stars.

Love my AirPods Pro
These more than met my expectations. They are comfortable, they fit well, thanks to these being furnished with various sizes of ear inserts, they sound great, and they reduce surrounding noise. They automatically link to my iPhone. I recommend these for anyone interested in ear pods.

Good ANC earbuds
It's been 2 years since I've got these and I have to say, I can't live without them. They're mot as good as noise-cancelling headphones, but they noise-cancelling very well. In normal noise circumstances, at least (ex. obviously if you're near a construction site, it will be hard to noise cancel completely). It easily fits into my jean pockets (very portable) and I love the hole it has to loop it with a lanyard. I'd say they were very worth it, at the time I purchased it. Now that they have the Airpod Pros Gen 3, that one might be more worthy compared to the Gen 2. Heard they might have better ANC, but I have yet to try them. For now, my Gen 2s work just fine, so will stick with them.

Absolutely worth it, to me.
I understand the rave reviews. The audio quality is outstanding for a Bluetooth device. I’m 65, yet even at very low volume high/mid/ low pitches are sharp and clear. The active noise cancelling completely muffles sounds as diverse as barking dogs, TVs, a crackling fireplace, and the high-volume cacophony found driving a semi at 80mph. I don’t have to *pretend* I don’t have to pretend I didn’t hear my wife and her honey-do list. I do find the conversational awareness feature is.. a little slow to recognize I’m talking or somebody’s else is. It’s only a couple seconds, but that’s enough to sometimes miss important data. Still, going into it with that in mind, it’s an outstanding feature. I’d love to go *squeee*! over the spacial audio. I would, if virtually everybody else weren’t doing the exact same thing. I will simply say I wish I’d bought a SA device when they first came out. It’s scary good. Even after a month or more of using these daily, I still marvel at it. Phone calls in noisy environments could be better. While I can hear the other end just fine even if I’m standing next to a loud generator, the microphone control/noise cancelling makes it difficult for the person on the other end to understand me. My Bluetooth headset- with a boom mic- handles this much better. Yes, there’s a huge difference in both the distance from mouth to mic and in the actual direction of the sounds from my mouth. Apple has done a great job, but.. a headset with a boom mic would do you better for phone calls in a noisy environment. The manual controls on the stem are a nice idea. They probably work well if you have normal sized fingers. My hands and fingers are larger that those of most people. While I can use the stem control, I generally have to be a little careful or I’ll send the wrong signal. It’s not a big issue and I’ve acclimated to it, and it’s to be expected with the shorter stems on the Pro version. The system works well, just be prepared for a learning curve, even if it is shallow. For me and my use- mostly listening to audio with maybe two calls a day- a full charge lasts pretty close to five hours. Nothing I’ve done really makes much of a difference. I’ve found that charging the Air Pods from zero to 100% takes about half an hour in the supplied MagSafe charger. The charger itself takes about the same amount of time to go from 40% to 90+%. Less than an hour to reach 100%. Note, I don’t have a wireless charger. I plug it into a 2W wall brick. The case would probably charge a lot faster on a good wireless pad. One thing I don’t like, though I can’t really offer a better solution is that I can’t tell the charge status of the case without the air pod inside. Yes, there’s an amber/green momentary LED on the case, but is too broad an indicator for my taste. To get an accurate figure, you have to put the air pods in the charging case and open it near your phone or iPad. That’s … clunky. I know other systems would use more power, but call me obsessive. Maybe just let me ask Siri? Air Pods Pro (v2) comes with four sets of silicone tips that are easily changed to fit your ear canal. They are very comfortable and are part of the noise cancellation system. For all that Apple should be lauded for not trying to go with a “one size fits all “ solution, none of the tips actually fit me all that well. While all sizes did their job noise cancelling, after an hour or so they need to be reseated. On more than one occasion I’ve had an air pod fall out of my ear while I’m simply walking. It’s much worse if I’m eating or talking. I honestly don’t know how they could do a better job given the job requirements, just be aware these don’t fit deep in the ear canal like hearing aids. Finally, the color. At first I was mildly unhappy that white is the only color choice. After having the fall out of my ear more than once and simply dropping them because I’m clumsy, I’ve come to realize the color is a brilliant choice. Basically, they’re easy to find no matter where I’ve dropped them. I didn’t even have much of a problem when I dropped one in a foot of snow. All in all, the Apple Air Pods Pro (v2) aren’t perfect. There’s definitely room for improvement. But not much. They’re quite a bit more expensive than I really wanted to pay. But, having done so, I’m glad I did. There are better similar audio systems out there, but they aren’t - in my opinion- worth the price difference. I almost gave them 5 stars, but.. the charge status system just annoys me. It’s just too clunky. In spite of that, I’m very glad I opted to spend the bucks to get Apple Air Pods Pro.

Amazing
I had some 'good' earphones years ago. I'm amazed at how far the technology has come and how good these sound. The noise cancellation is really good. It doesn't totally mask every single sound, but comes close. I had an air compressor cycle on the other day (LOUD!! 95dB or so) and it barely was perceptible in the Air Pods. I enjoy listening to my music more. I can hear all the subtleties in the music without having to blast it so loud. The only issues I have with them are: 1) they can fall out of the ears with a bump or brush. And, 2) the find my feature is part great / part not so great. I was in my garage and took off a dust mask I was wearing which caught one and it fell to the floor. I tried to use the "find my" air pod. It shows your phone a directional indicator pointing toward your pod. But mine happened to have fallen under the desk so not visible. Ahh... but it emits a tone. But it is a very high pitched tone, and for my hearing impaired old ears, I could not hear it well enough to locate it. Finally found it by just sheer searching. Wish the tone was adjustable. I'd make them fit ear batter, and make the locator tone adjustable. Otherwise, a great device. I love that the noise cancellation is adjustable, as there are sometimes (a sidewalk crossing a road, for example, that I need to be able to hear my surroundings) The controls take a little getting used to, but once learned they are so convenient. I'm glad I bought the higher featured set. The battery power is phenomenal. The case stores and extra couple of charges. I've never run out. - probably 25 hrs or so of play available. Never came close to maxing out. The instructions walk you through a rather sophisticated setup tailoring to your ears and space. I've had a little difficulty pairing and staying paired to my 3 major devices (iMac, iPhone, Apple TV) - but seems to have leveled out now. Maybe some user error on my part initially!

AirPods Pro 2: The Ultimate Wireless Earbuds Just Got Better
Apple has truly outdone itself with the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation). From sound quality to smart features, every aspect feels like a meaningful upgrade over the original and easily makes these the best wireless earbuds I’ve ever used. First off, the sound quality is phenomenal. The improved H2 chip delivers noticeably richer audio with deeper bass and crystal-clear mids and highs. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the clarity and balance are top-tier. Adaptive EQ and Personalized Spatial Audio make everything sound tailored specifically to me. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is in a league of its own. It's significantly better than the first-gen AirPods Pro, blocking out everything from airplane engine noise to background chatter at a café. And when I need to stay aware, Transparency Mode is more natural than ever—it’s almost like not wearing earbuds at all. Another game-changer? Battery life. I get up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC on, and over 30 hours with the case. The new MagSafe charging case now includes a built-in speaker and Find My support, which is incredibly handy if you're prone to misplacing things like I am. Comfort is still excellent. The updated ear tips (including a new XS size) provide a secure, customizable fit for all-day wear with zero fatigue. And the new touch controls on the stems make adjusting volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls effortless. If you're in the Apple ecosystem, the seamless integration is unbeatable; quick pairing, automatic switching between devices, and hands-free “Hey Siri” functionality all work flawlessly. Bottom line: the AirPods Pro 2 are a masterclass in refinement. Whether you’re upgrading from the first-gen or buying your first pair, these are the gold standard for wireless earbuds in 2025. An easy 5 out of 5 stars.

Apple AirPods Pro 2
These arrived well packaged, and quickly. These are replacing another brand that was reviewed all over Youtube as being just as good as the Airpods....sure they are....sure they are.... We purchased two pairs as our "just as good" units started failing a couple months after owning them. The AirPods arrived, connecting instantly to an iPhone 12, and 14. For over a year now, we have been using these AirPods daily. We can absolutely confirm that the other units were NOT "just as good". There is literally no comparison. Every detail in the description list for the AirPods delivered an experience beyond our expectation. The AirPodsare simply better than anything else we have ever tried, and we are not huge Apple fans, but you have to give credit when its due. The noise cancelling, brilliant. The sound/audio is incredible. Using them with your phone during calls, likely their best feature. An example of this, my husband will be working on the ground with the equipment and gear while I operate our Skid Steer (bobcat). We can talk quietly back and forth as he guides me in at the dump sites for perfect drop placement or as he inches me in under a sensitive lift with the fork attachments. We literally talk to each other like the equipment is off, discuss the next step in the job, and ultimately these AirPods allow us to get some much more accomplished in the day with less stress. You won't find Apple pitching that feature, but they should. These little AirPods do everything, and some much more. Several other companies pitch a similar product, but in the end the user experience is less than you hoped. Worst of all, if you buy the cheaper options like we did, you could have saved that $$, and put it towards a set of these AirPods reducing the overall price, almost like a coupon you didn't realize you had. Buy once, cry once as they say. Buy these with absolute confidence. Great product
