A very nicely designed grinder.
My first hand grinder was a Hario ceramic burr grinder. It's a difficult grinder to use as anyone who has used one will attest. A ceramic burr is an incredibly inefficient way to grind coffee. A ceramic burr cuts very slowly and feels like it's struggling the entire time. My next grinder was a Vevok Chef stainless steel burr grinder. What an incredible difference. Much faster, much smoother and better grind consistency. As much as I've enjoyed using it, I became very curious about a next level grinder, so I got a C3. The C3 is definitely an upgrade as far as material choices, fit and finish. It seem to produce fewer fines than the Vevok, but it can be difficult to be objective about that. While the Vevok offers six grind settings, the C3 offers dozens. Nobody needs that many grind options, and the grind size recommendations for the C3 may be useful for some, but they were completely useless for my Hario V60 method. The C3 setting recommendation for a pour over is 13 to 16 clicks. I tried that range and ended up with coffee dust, more or less, and a thick coffee mud that nearly stopped drawing towards the end of the pour. After experimenting a lot I ended up at 25 clicks for my five pour method. Once you figure out your best grind size setting, the C3 is an optimal grinder. It's smooth, efficient and a pleasure to use, and it feels as if it was designed to last a very long time.

Consistent grind at a moderate price
While not as finely adjustable as more expensive models, the Timemore C3 produces a consistent grind in a small package. Good for the initial foray into home coffee culture or for a portable brew system on the road.

This is an excellent coffee grinder
I bought this to replace my 1Zpresso Q1 grinder when the grounds container started dropping out of it, rather than replacing it with another one of the same brand (at about double the price of the Timemore C3). That was a really good decision, this is every bit as good a coffee grinder, maybe even better. The entire thing is very thoughtfully constructed and well-built. The knurling on the outside provides a solid grip, the burrs are terrifically sharp. It took me a couple of tries to get the right setting dialed in: the manual suggested 7-8 for espresso, and that's much too fine. I wound up at 11, and that's just right.

Best manual out there
The best. You donโt need an electric burrer. You say to clean and use

Sturdy construction and easy to use.
I bought this for a cross country camping trip. It is nice and compact with a draw string bag for easy transport. Easy to adjust grind. Sturdy construction and consistent grind. Easy to clean.
