Great quality and lightweight
These poles are really good quality, lightweight, sturdy, and the company provides lots of extras, such as 2 types of rubber feet, different mud and snow baskets, and a carrying bag. And they are made in the USA - yay! I returned them for only one reason, and that is that the metal tips are not quite as grippy as my Leki poles, which have an inverted conical shape, rather than the star shape of these poles. The edge of the conical shape is sharp, making it grippier on surfaces such as ice and rock. But they are very good poles and I highly recommend them. The price is excellent, especially for a carbon fiber shaft.

Lightweight, very sturdy. Great quality USA made.
Lightweight, sturdy, has some really great tips. I like the cork handle and how easy it is to adjust. They are plastic but strong. I really love that these are made in USA, and would gladly spend the extra $10. Small business out northern mid west. They are really super good quality

Work Great and cool color
Got these for a family vacation to Colorado where we would have lots of walking (not hiking but just walking on sidewalks etc...).....worked out great....I used one, my wife used the other. Very comfortable and easy to use.....made for easier and more stable walking.....easy to adjust, easy to fold up and stow away in the bag. Great product and highly recommend it....I had never used trekking poles before and I purchased a variety of them for the group to use and try.....these were crowd favorites.

Work great
These trekking poles work great. No breakage. I do make sure not to over-extend these to prevent weak spots. After getting the height that's comfortable for me, I have not had to readjust the clasps, they stay tight and in place.

Product did not meet my needs.
I purchased these hiking sticks to help relieve back pain while walking. They are height adjustable. One of the pair does not hold the locked height I need. I will return them and request a replacement set where the locking mechanism holds the stick in place while I walk.

Sturdy and lightweight hiking poles
This is a set of 2 hiking poles that are a valuable asset to have when hiking. I received the 2 hiking poles along with 2 snow and 2 mud baskets, 2 round rubber tips, 2 rubber feet, 2 pole clips, a carrying bag, and a user guide. These hiking poles are made with carbon fiber, making them quite light, but very strong. The poles consist of 3 telescoping segments, with 2 flip locks on each pole that lock the segments into place once you have adjusted the poles to their proper length. The user guide refers you to a web page where there are a number of short videos describing setting up the poles. I found these short videos very useful and informative and I highly recommend them. After watching the videos, I found that setting up the poles was quite easy. I found these hiking poles comfortable to hold when hiking, as they have nicely formed cork hand grips. I was able to put reasonable amount of my body weight down on the poles, and noticed very little flex in the poles. The variety of tips that came with the poles will be useful when navigating different types of terrain. When you are not using your poles for hiking, I like that they collapse down to quite a compact size, and can be stored in their accompanying storage bag. One thing that stands out with these hiking poles is that there seems to be a high level of product support available from the company, ranging from replacement parts for items that wear out to answering most questions that a user might have about the poles. This gives me a high degree of confidence that any issue that might arise could be addressed. Overall, these seem well built hiking poles, and I highly recommend them.

Sturdy and lightweight
My family and I enjoy hiking, especially when we go on vacation, but as my spouse and I get older we've been finding the need for some assistance. I've been looking for lightweight walking poles for awhile, so when these popped up I wanted to give them a try. The poles come in a nice, compact package which holds the poles, a set of hard surface tips, and two sets of guards - one for mud, another for snow. The poles measure around 2 feet when fully collapsed and extend up to 55 inches. The tips are easily exchangeable and are a friction fit, while the guards screw on to the bottom of each pole. One of the really nice features is the length markers, which means it's very easy to consistently set the pole length. The guide book provides a table with recommended pole-lengths-to-a-person's-height, and from the testing my family has done the recommendations make the poles comfortable to use. Adjusting the poles is very simple, as they use a "quick flip" locking system. You do have to adjust the tension of the clips with the associated thumb screws, but overall the system works well. Most importantly, the cork grips make them comfortable to hold and the carbon fibre shafts makes them very lightweight. The lightness is a double bonus, as you don't get tired when using them and they're perfect for travelling as they don't take up too much room or add weight to one's luggage. I look forward to getting lots of use out of them, for even though it's fun to go searching for a walking stick when in the woods, having a pair of versatile walking poles like these is a much more practical and pleasant experience.

Awkward to adjust Well made.
They are beautiful, but l have very little strength in my hands and wrists; as a result, adjusting the length is quite difficult, as a screw has to be tightened, and a clip adjusted around the pole. For travel, they are not convenient. If indeed you are hiking etc, then they would be great. But through airports and on planes, not ideal. Hence 3 stars.

Fendu en moins d'un an
Je suis une bonne randonneuse, mais que le bâton fende sur la longueur, c'est la première fois que ça m'arrive. Mauvaise qualité. N'achetez pas ça!
