Pretty good. Better than expected.
We bought this for camping and in our t6. It works pretty well. Cools both compartments to -15 without any trouble. It happily cools one side to -15 and the other to +2 degress but when doing so, the fridge side is quite unstable in that it varies by 2 degrees before the compressor starts running. This might be because when I tested, it was empty so may be better once full of food. It is quiet, but not silent. I could imagine the fan noise being annoying if you were sleeping in the bus but I guess you would get used to it. Another reviewer said it doesnโt work with the smart alternator on the t6. This is NOT correct for me. Firstly, it worked perfectly on the default settings (highest battery protection) and runs happily for a while on the starter battery with the ignition off, if the battery is full; but shuts off when the battery has dropped to about 90%. Secondly, you can change this setting (although the user interface to do this is poor). On medium, there is still loads of power left in the starter battery to start the engine. It draws about 3 amps when the compressor was running. When empty, and a target temperature of -15 in both sections, ambient temp of 21, the compressor ran for about an hour to get down and then ran for about 7 mins on, 15 mins off. This is from memory of my testing a few months ago so donโt rely on these figures! It is lower quality than those made by a company whose name similar to โdomesticโ. But a fraction of the cost. It is also smaller externally for the same internal size and feels a fair bit lighter. The handles are plastic rather than sprung loaded metal etc. My gripes with it are: The lid doesnโt seal very well. It bends quite a bit and the catch is in the middle. I suspect it will be losing energy there. I donโt think the insulation is great. When the internal temp is -15, ambient 21, the outside was about 8 degress. So it is losing a fair bit of energy there too. The compressor is quiet but the fan is noisy. It would be easy to make quieter if you fancy fiddling. The wheels are on the opposite side to the compressor. This means that when you wheel it around, you are having to lift the compressor end where the weight is. I am sure that when full of food the opposite will be true but I would have thought it made more sense to have the wheels on the compressor end? All in all, a pretty good product, more than up to the job, pretty solid, although you can see where the cost savings are coming from when compared to the more expensive brands.

Very impressed.
This review is for the 15ltr version. Very impressed with this fridge, it cools down quite quickly and holds the set temp very well. It will vary from 1 or 2 degrees above and below the set temp, which is what you would expect as the compressor cuts in and out. The fridge itself is very quiet really, although that will be dependant on the location and surface on which it is standing. I haven`t worked out how much electric it uses, but it is very low. I recon it runs for about10-15 mins an hour. However if you open the thing up ever 5mins, it will need to run a lot longer! You can stand a 500ml beer can in it, and will keep other essential items nice and cold. A little water /ice does build up inside and there is no drain plug, but a bit of kitchen roll sorts that out. The lid is a little stiff to open, but that is a good thing. You can take the lid off. However you can`t reverse the lid, which might be quite handy in some situations, it would mean you wouldn`t have the control screen upside down ! Just a thought. My biggest gripe is the polystyrene packaging, which the council won`t recycle.

Works as advertised
Just unboxed and works as advertised on mains. I have no reason it wont work just as well in the car. It cooled down much quicker than I thought from 19 to 4 degrees in both compartments in around half an hour, maybe less on eco. It would have been faster in max but not in a hurry. Feels well built. It would have been a nice design feature if the lid went flat with cup holders or chopping board instead of just a lid but I knew in advance. It holds 4 pint plastic bottles of milk upright and keeps the profile low for my Tesla Model 3.

Brilliant
Great as fridge or freezer or both even in 34deg temps in an awning in Cornwall. Brilliant

mechanics work well but could be better insulated
I needed a portable freezer to take some frozen food on a 3 day car and ferry journey. I hesitated before committing to buying this after reading a previous reviewer's comments about smart alternators in modern cars affecting its working, but from this aspect it was fine. I took it down to minus 8 on the mains and it stayed there after plugging into the car. The plan was to plug it into the mains overnight in our hotel room en route but my wife found it too noisy (though it is relatively quiet) so we switched it off when we turned the lights out. The room wasn't particularly warm but the temperature on the unit read +4 by the time we woke, though the food was still just about frozen. I had hoped to use a high capacity lithium battery to power it on the 6hr ferry trip but when the thermostat stopped it using power the battery auto shut off (not the freezers fault) so we again had the problem of the freezer warming up when not powered up. It's quite robustly made though the handle can become detached if twisted (easy to re-attach). I just wish they had focussed on better insulation rather than installing a USB charging socket which I think is just a gimmick. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been better insulated.

Cool...
I'm a live-aboard boater and wanted a small freezer aboard as well as a fridge, it also had to work when cruising away from my mooring so a 12V option was required as well as a mains supply. My previous fridge was an absorption-type and thus totally silent in operation so my concern was that this unit could be over-loud in operation. Being a compressor it is certainly not silent and much louder than a standard domestic freezer which I put down to the forced air cooling and the associated fan that powers it. After a while you do get used to it and even though only 12 feet away from my bed, it doesn't keep me awake. I use it in the dual function mode with the fridge at 3ยบC and the freezer at -18ยบC and it has no problems maintaining these temperatures. At these setting it seems to cycle on and off at 10-minute intervals so is running 50% of the time (10mins on 10mins off). As the unit is rated at 60Watts continuous (or 5 Amps at 12V) then this reduces to 2.5 Amp-hours at a 50% cycle. On this basis depleting my 220 Ah battery bank to 50% should enable me to run the unit in excess of 40 hours before recharging is required, not bad at all. I've not tried this on a fridge-only setting but I wouldn't be surprised if an even longer run time would result due to not having to drop the temperature so low. The build quality seems sound although one major gripe was the catches that secure the lid closed, they are simply lugs that push-fit into indents in the sides and mine were tight, and I mean nail-breakingly tight. I ended up having to sand them down and apply silicon grease, I could actually pick the entire thing up by the lid rather than it opening, bad engineering. In spite of getting in touch with the company, I'm still not sure what the 'Fast' function does as opposed to the 'Eco' setting, the unit cycles on and off with the same frequency and maintains the same temperatures, it certainly doesn't seem to function as a 'fast freeze' where the thermostat is over-ridden as in a domestic freezer. My reply from customer services simply re-quoted the instruction book to me 'chapter and verse', without clarifying the situation, poor service really. Overall however I have had the unit for around a month now and I'm very happy with it. My next cruise now that we are coming out of lock-down will reveal all... UPDATE: It is now 2 years since I purchased this item and I wanted to update my review in light of my experience. This unit has been running 24/7 mainly on mains power but also on my 12V supply and has been faultless in its performance both in its fridge and freezer zones. The lid has become easier to use over time and in 2 years I've only had to defrost it twice. Honestly, I can't rate it highly enough both in performance and reliability.

Game changer ๐๐
Easy to use with great cooling, I ran the Dellonda 50ltr whilst off grid on the Norfolk broads for 7 nights it has great energy efficiency and when it comes on is quite quiet low noise level we had it in the back of our t5.1 van directly below our heads under bed I would say it was a bit expensive the alpicool 60ltr unit is cheaper and looks exactly the same but I am impressed with this model, I wish I had bought a it years ago you'll never go back to an ordinary cool box again this compressor fridge freezer box is a game changer ๐๐

Don't know how I managed without one
For two years I've been using a large quality coolbox and I always thought I could manage without a fridge/freezer. This is a duel zone fridge with removable devider which allows you to have one fridge or one freezer. Whe the divider is is the duel zone works flawlessly one side can be -20c the other 0c it's been running in my van since the day I bought it I have one 350 watt solar panel and two AGM 110amp batteries and it's been working absolutely fine. Ice-cream whenever wherever you want. ๐ It's well built it's not silent but it's not noisy. I can freez freezer blocks to use in another cooler box for the beach. It's saved on waste as well I'm very happy with how easy it is to use really don't know how I've managed all this time without one.
