learning curve!
I have thin and "bendy" nails that make it difficult for hard gel manicures to last, as my nail is flexible and bending under the hard gel of my manicure/extension causing the product to lift from my nail. Rubber base gel was introduced to me as a solution, and that is how I use it. It is now the first layer of all my manicures, with or without extensions, and helps build shape and strength without lifting AS MUCH. One nail at a time, I apply a thin "slip layer" of rubber base and then take a larger amount of rubber base, plop it near the base of my nail and push it up to my cuticle line and then float the product down the middle of my nail, creating a sort of "V" line. After floating the product down, I float the product towards the side walls if it has not already started doing so on its own. This product self-levels pretty well. Then, I flip my hand over, palm facing up, for 30 seconds to a minute to help create an apex. I always check the leveling, from the side and with my finger pointing towards myself, before curing. Once cured I proceed with filing any unevenness or small bumps. Sand to etch the surface a bit, then go in with builder/base gel/polish/etc. Whereas before I could maybe go 4-6 days before seeing lifting, I can now go 12-14 days, depending on how much energy went into nail care. There is definitely a learning curve here, so I would recommend first time users allocate plenty of time for the beginning nail sessions using this product. It is quite viscous. The smell does not bother me, but I still always use a mask and suggest others do as well, especially if they are sensitive to nail product smells. All in all, don't get me wrong, there is still lifting, however it has been noticeably reduced and does not happen as quickly or as often, effectively doubling the lifespan of my manicures. Because of that I do not have any complaints.

Amazing
The first picture is from the week of Christmas and the second picture is from 1/12/26, I haven’t done one infill or filed my nails. There is no lifting at all, my nails feel so strong. This is truly life changing since my nails are so thin and bend so easily and break when I have any bit of length. The rubber base is so easy to put apply and you can pretty much figure it out almost immediately. This is the only gel actually worth your money, I will be repurchasing from now on!!

Best nail product you will ever buy. Nail biters this will break your habit
I’ve bought this product two times now and it’s amazing. I’ve been a nail biter for the past 15 years of my life and this is the only reason my nails are long and healthy today. In the attached picture I have the rubber base below and any fun gel color I choose that I put on top. Such a good combo I have been doing this method for years now and it lasts months. Also the attached picture is my nail nails, no tips. Yah this product is that good. It is true that when you cure it there is a thin sticky layer on top but all gel polishes do this, take some acetone or nail polish remover and wipe it. This product is also very thick but in my opinion I think this feature only makes it better for beginners. This product is the MOST long lasting thing you will ever put on your nails. It literally does not move. You have to file it off to remove it. Personally I love this but keep that in mind. Overall I cannot say enough good things about this product for the price you should definitely buy!

Good but not great
There are more good things about this polish than bad, so I'll start with the bag. The pull back is REAL! I applied this the same way I apply my tried and true polish but this one pulled back from the tip of my nail from the jump. In turn the tip of my nails separated from the polish pretty early on causing them to break underneath the polish. So I just lost some of the length but nothing detrimental. And now, after it's been on for 2 weeks, it's starting to get kind of brittle. Weird but ok. There's also some lifting towards the back of the nails that started a few days after application. Otherwise, the color is great. The coverage is great. It's easy to apply. Burns like h*** while curing (hotter than all my other polishes) but that's not really a surprise. If you were putting this on nail tips or filing after curing it would probably be just fine. But I'm a gel to bare nail kinda gal, so it's not really working the best for me. Overall not bad, just not great either.

Easy to use w/ flawless results!
First off, if you’re hesitant to try this because you’ve used builder base before and had a tough time, don’t be! This product was MUCH easier to use than builder base imo and didn’t flood my cuticle and side walls as easily/quickly. I had ample time to manipulate the product (used a super tiny/thin art brush to get close to the edges) and get the result I wanted with a smooth even coat. The self leveling is amazing and I didn’t need to do any filing my or buffing which saved a ton of time! I ordered one of the kits and the colors are all stunning and neutral (the color I’m wearing here is 440). I would recommend this product for any level nail enthusiast because it truly was so easy to work with! I used the black gel color from this same brand to achieve the dot (with a dot tool also purchased on Amazon). I plan to stay stocked with these rubber bases - I absolutely love them and they will be my go to moving forward!

Pretty at first, but changes color at the tips
This rubber base looks really nice at first glance, and the application feels smooth. However, after a few days, I noticed that the tips started turning darker, even though the rest of the nail stayed fine. I still don’t know why this happens. Also, keep in mind that you need to buy the top coat separately for it to fully cure. The first time I used it, I didn’t realize that, and it just stayed sticky. After doing some research, I ordered the matching top coat from the same brand, and then it finally cured properly. It’s a decent product, but the color change at the tips is disappointing. (The photo is the first day)

Buy it
Application was sooo so easy. This rubber base gel is a little bit on the thicker side compared to what I normally use, but I really liked it. I will be purchasing more colors !

This brand never lets me down!
I bought this to try and was amazed at how easy it is to use. No lumps or bumps. I use it more as a builder on my natural nails. I apply a thin wet coat then use a thicker coat on that, guiding it with a mini brush. Hold upside down (angle away from your cuticles) and use the mini brush to make final adjustments. Then put it in the lamp. Use a buffer or 240 grit file to finish. I haven’t had one on my natural nails break since I started using it. The grow out looks fantastic. You can extend the wear time by filing off whatever gel you have on top your rubber base, around your cuticles a then add a fresh gel color base coat and new polish. Even though people feel some type of way about him, my holy grail gel polish base coat is by Enail Couture. I e used it for years and I never have a chip or crack. Paired with this rubber base, I can get 4-6 weeks per mani. I’m a nurse, by the way, and I use more alcohol based hand sanitizer than most. This never separates from my natural nail unlike a lot of products.

Good consistency, product easy to use - colour is not quite as advertised
It would be good if there was a better description of the colours. The colour I chose was meant to be a pinky-peach (447), but this one didn't have any orange tone at all, it's just a baby pink. It is quite sheer, but buildable with extra layers. Whilst it seems thick when you first take the brush out of the bottle, it is quite easy to work to apply thin layers (i.e. product wipes off into bottle easily, goes on smoothly in thin layers). The product self levels quite nicely. I don't get the thick/high nail apex I've seen in videos, but after comparing images of my natural nail to the product on my nail, I noticed that may nails are quite naturally flat. The apex I'm left with is natural looking, and seems to do the job. I've been using this with the Jello Jello One Kill Peel Off Base, and it handles it quite nicely (one layer of Jello, one layer of CND base, then the rubber base). I do find that the rubber base tightens the standard base layer, making the Jello a bot harder to remove and thus slightly peeling some of my nails. I'm currently experimenting with one layer of rubber base to see if this helps. At one point, I had the below layers on, and my nails didn't seem thick/chunky at all (I'd say that seem a bit thicker in the image due to the angle, but even then it's fine): - 1 layer of Jello base - 1 1 layer of CND base - 3 layers of Aimeili rubber base coat in 447 - 1 layer of CND Field Fox - 1 layer of CND top coat It offers a great layer of protection to my nails. They have grown longer and not broken, which is pretty unusual for me (my nails grow, but often end up breaking at the nail line). I'll definitely buy more colours, experimenting with them. I wish there were some more opaque colours, as it is quite nice to wear on its own (I'm currently wearing it as shown in the image with a single layer of rubber base for a more natural nail look).

Uneven Finish
The top coat from aimeili does not work with this product it kind of does not adhere to it, the finish is rough like it repels the nail surface and doesn’t stick properly all over and once cured the finish is all patchy . I would like to know why as they’re both from the same brand.

Rubber gel nail polish
This product is good for thin nails as it bends with the nail so doesnt seem to lift as easily. My sets last 4-5 weeks
