These sandbags are great. I bought them for my outdoor igloo type tent. We get a lot of wind and I’ve set up my igloo on our patio/deck. We pulled up these bags and put them all around the tent over the flaps that are on the outside. They keep ant wins out and when it snows or rains, it keeps it dry on the inside. They are very durable, made of good quality heavy material. They must have e upgraded their ties because they are easy to use and tie well.

These are really well constructed bags. Great fabric that won't leak the sand and is very sturdy. Nice ties on the ends. Very solid stitching. Really solid and well-made. I am using them to anchor poly in a crawl space in places with limited access, and they are great for that. I attached a picture showing how I filled them, with about 18" of 4" PVC to attach them to a vertical support. My belt happened to work for attaching but one of those ratchet strap things would be a more general solution. I also found that the included ties worked nicely as a first step, but then I put a zip ties just a little farther in, and they truly sealed the sand in the bag. I used about 85% of a 60lb bag of play sand to fill each 5 foot bag to about 75% full, to give you a sense of stand requirements.

Worked well and stopped some minor flood damage. The string used to tie shut is much to be desired, but it worked. Too thin and it does not close completely. Still all in all a good purchase. Fix the closing and you got a 5.

Well made of tough material. I’ve had for one winter/spring season but bags are in good condition & I expect to reuse for multiple years. Will store in garage when not needed for storm or hurricanes to help protect from sun damage. Much better than water bags or those absorbent bags for preventing rain water from entering doorways. I purchased the 5 foot bags. Filled fully with sand so they have weight to them but I am able to lift and move them. I am pleased with them & would buy again if needed.

This is a well designed, easy to use product. I've used this for helping seal door threshholds, including sliding glass doors. Let's not pretend this is some sort of hydraulic seal, but I can say it's super effective on strong wind blown rain that you have with a hurricane. Been there... done that. Easy to fill, and the included small shovel is just perfect for filling the sandbags. Since each one has a closing strap, you won't be fighting with rope or cable ties to secure everything. That makes things much quicker and easier. Get some for hurricane season, and predetermine where you would get your sand as needed.

Perfect fit. I used another item to put inside these because the water filling barrier cover didn't hold up. These made a perfect cover for them, The size , thickness and ability to adjust size made them easy to use.

You will have to buy sand to fill the bags. They are well built with a canvas like material. Unfortunately the bags are died green. When the basement water touches the bags the green dye runs on the floor. I am hoping it will clean up. Seems to be holding back the water OK.

With the thought of what these do, being as happy as I am (a lot) seems pretty reasonable. My driveway goes down to my house. As a result, Michael the mailman will not delivery my mail and when it rains hard, enough water comes in the garage to soak the office the prior owners had build out there in 2/3 of one bay. I have an in-ground shelter so I can't park anything in the other bay. I have these staggered outside the garage door and they've done an amazing job in keeping the water out.

These sand bags are made of thick material, although I could not fill them up, as to heavy, I'm very happy with them

excellent quality canvas. exactly as described. does tie off, if done properly, but will use plastic ties for added strength. will be using to secure camping tent walls and seems ideal for this purpose. Note - NO sand included! (LOL)

Excelente! Hubieron muchos lluvias intensas este año. Tengo un cuarto de maquinas subterráneo el cual se llena de agua debido a q está a ras de suelo (mal planificado x parte del arquitecto) pero estas bolsas + una tapa encima de acrílico solucionaron por completo el problema! Me salvaron de varias inundaciones

Good overall product

The bags are exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy, well made, and happy to say that having now filled all 10 bags, there has been no leakage of sand. I wasn’t able to fully seal the sandbags with the ties provided and will do some work around but I’m still very happy with my purchase. Score : 4.5 / 5.0
