It's a hard soap so you use it as a traditional soap, get it wet rub it over the area, lather it up and rinse it off (although I usually do this 10 mins before my shower so I can leave it on the areas a bit longer then I wash it off in the shower). I make sure to follow up with lotion so it doesn't dry my skin.
