I first bought these for my fish on the recommendation of a friend who used to work in an aquarium shop. I have a pond with several large goldfish (5 in - 8 in long). The fish love them and will swim to the surface and gather around me when they think they're going to be fed. They also have good, bright color. My fish are not koi, but these are recommended for all pond fish.

Great size for our Koi and goldfish. It doesn’t foul up the pond ph, either. Will continue to buy this product.

I love the size of these pellets for my goldfish and Koi. They can feed a variety of sizes of fish because of their small size, and they ship quickly! I've purchased them over 20 times, and they come on time, and are in sealed bags.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I use this in my gold fish pond and they absolutely love it. I never have to remove any uneaten pieces.

I appreciate the warmth of Amazon's concern regarding my fish food purchase. The fishies like it fine and it is small enough that the small fish prefer it to larger pellets. After spring gains warmth I will switch them over to a larger pellet which has more thickness and way more value for the money. It is hard to tell if this food is a good deal, but maybe it is. The package is pretty.

To be honest I haven't used it yet but I have spoken to Koi breeders who highly recommend it!
