good quality plates
I like Meri Meri Partyware. Their stuff is always good quality. These are nice but small silver coloured paper plates. I think they could be a bit thicker/sturdier but I had no problems with the thickness they are. I did not check the size of them before ordering but they certainly coped with a decent size slice of birthday cake.

DELICATE AND DAINTY
These were purchased for a Christening Party. Although they are made of wood, they are strong enough for either decoration or use. They look delicate and dainty.
