Excellent food . Package was damaged on route however. I do think these sacks should be protected during transit . Amazon dealt with this promptly and efficiently.

Great dog food. My girl enjoys it and she's quite fussy. Quite expensive for how much you get in the package but the quality of it is worth it. I will buy again (when on offer!)

My elderly cross dachshund and my young cocker spaniel both enjoy this dry food and it does not upset their stomach- which other dry food tends to do with my older dog.

Our 2 year old Labrador has loved this since she was a puppy (obs on the puppy version). She has a greedy dog slow feeder bowl but still wolf's it down as fast as her little sister. I think it tastes like cr*p but she loves it so can't complain. Not the cheapest but doesn't give her the threepenny bits, she enjoys it (goes nuts for 1 crumb of it), what is there to dislike? Update: having gone through another few bags over the last few months, the consistency has varied. Having read what other people have written about their dogs going off it and different suppliers manufacturing it, thought I would add that over the last few months the size and colour of the kibble balls has varied, we had one bag that was mainly crushed kibble/dust (may have been carriers throwing it around). Labrador still loves it, the Springer is still on puppy food and we can't afford how much the barking heads puppy food has gone up to so she's on eukanuba and seems to be enjoying that, I still can't stand either, half a bowl and I can't face anything else to eat for the rest of the day.

Five stars for the food itself, but the packaging is a major problem. If I order delivery, the bag is usually torn and leaking, quite often patched up with tape, and I worry it’s been contaminated en route, not to mention how much food has leaked out in transit. The bag is not resealable, and is stiff plastic that cuts your hand if you’re not careful. It is very heavy and has no carrying handle. You need to open it with scissors, and find a way to keep it closed unless you want to decant the whole lot into a container. (Yes, I have complained to the company more than once and received no acknowledgement despite the cutesie messaging on the bag.) If you store the bag on a concrete floor, the food inside goes mouldy. Another problem is that they keep changing the formulation of the food without telling customers - a big problem if you have a dog with a sensitive tummy. Over the last few years, frequent pointless redesigns of the packaging have lead to shortages/out of stock and delays with orders. I’m tied to this product as it’s the only one I’ve found that suits my younger dog - she likes it and is thriving on it - but wish I could find a local store to collect it in person and avoid the damaged bags.
