Great well built product.
High quality. Love the 20 amp version. A little tricky to mount without brackets for the box. However, A simple installation. I WILL order more.

sturdy and low-profile but confusing to install.
Quick initial review after installing (but not using) the outlet box. Overall is seems pretty sturdy metal and quite low-profile. Nice design of the lid etc. The electrical box however is confusing and the instructions useless. 1. The instructions only cover concrete embedding scenarios. Even then it's goofy because the box has holes in it. Those would need to be covered to prevent concrete intrusion. 2. Related, there are no holes in the side of the box for mounting to wood. Drilling them is fine but, I dunno, at least say that? 3. There is an adjustable frame inside the main box. The outlet cover and holder screw to the frame. It is very unclear why you would ever adjust the frame to any position other than fully "up" (towards the box opening). The frame does not affect how far in the outlet goes, just the length of the screws needed to reach from the outlet to the frame/box. That and once installed, there's a decent chance you won't be able to access the adjustment screws so... I don't get it. 4. The main box has knockouts that *appear* to be for 3/4 fittings. Unfortunately, *appear* but are not. Mine were .98". Very strange number. 3/4" knockouts should be closer to 1 1/8". Perhaps it's a metric knockout size? Or just off. I had to use a step drill to enlarge. Anyway, otherwise, it seems fine. I have to wait for the floor to be installed before wiring the outlet. So, more later...

Caution
Looks great and good quality, but very poorly designed. The lower box is almost the same size of the top cover. I had to cut a hole on my wood floor to install it and even though I cut the hole for the box perfectly it still doesnโt cover it completely. The top cover should be a little bigger in my opinion so the average home homeowner can install it without risking to destroy the floor. Just my opinion!

The electrical box has several problems
I really like the design of the top end. It is the lowest profile on the floor. The door to the outlets is very easy to open to use the outlets. It looks very sleek. And the engineering is smooth and tight. Appearance was a priority for me. So as far as that it is a win and I would buy again if that is a priority. Five stars there. HOWEVER: The instructions are useless. The 20 amp outlet is not unsalable for me for a couple reasons. First it is not GFCI. That is important because if it is in the floor we risk some exposure to water and Code requires GFCI. And the USB-A is out of date. This was was not a surprise. I knew I would replace that with a 15 amp GFCI. Unfortunately, that required a modifications for the other outlet just to make it fit. The modifications were not difficult to make but were time consuming. Then, I read the other reviews and saw some confusion about how to install it. That was expected: the knock outs are metric and you need to use 3/4" so you will need to make the knock outs bigger (time consuming). Others cut a hole the size of the black electrical box and found that the the top end barely covered it and then there was noting holding it in place other than gravity. The most realistic way to install it from my perspective was to cut a hole the size of the inner box (2 3/8" x 3 1/2" as I recall) rather than the size of the black electrical box. I installed the box in the crawl space, then had a partner align the holes up top and screw it up so that the box and the top end sandwich the floor. But then there is nothing holding the box in place other than the two screws on top. So if you ever have to replace the outlet the box will fall unless you suspend it in someway under the floor. To manage that I had to use L brackets and some self tapping sheet metal screws to secure it into place so future repairs are easier. If speed and simplicity is a priority, this is not the part for you. So, hope that your client is willing to pay for the extra time to make this usable or that you are willing to spend a lot of time doing these kind of modifications for a pretty floor outlet cover. One star here. On an average 3 stars.
