Let me start of by saying I'm comparing this to a Thermorest Neoair Xlite which I use regularly. I bought this Nature hike for my wife to retire a bulky self inflating mat. I have a Nature hike hammock which again is an excellent product and value and gets slept in and jumped on regularly, so bought this mat with some good expectations. I wasn't disappointed! It's warm! I read one of the German reviews saying it's not quite the r4.5 more like r3.5 which ilI second, but it's really very good. I can feel my body warmth being reflected up when lieing on it and although probably not as warm as the Neoair it really wasn't that far off! It's small and lite! It feels well made and the bag is generous to pack it all away. It comes with a stuff sack inflation device which works well and adds another layer of protection in transport, so the mat is effectively double bagged when packed. It's comfy! It feels nice to lie on, it doesn't rustle as much as my Neoair, and is fine lieing on the side. However I'd say (again don't forget I'm comparing this to a top rated mat) it doesn't hold up to squashing quite aswell as the Thermorest mat. The construction feels fine but it doesn't feel quite as hard wearing as the Xlite, a thinner fabric but no problems with it. The valves ( it's a double stacked valve for inflation and deflation) are better than Thermorest and work well. Conclusion. Very happy I've bought this and already thinking to swap the kids cheep Lidl mats to these. Let's face it you can get 3 of these for 1 Neoair. Worth every penny and you can buy 2! My view of nature hike is high and I actually want to try a small tent from them too. Jon.

I think overall this a an okay sleeping pad. It does provide some comfort, but it is very crinkly and noisy. However, it is very affordable and packs light (the main reason I got it). Bear in mind that you are advised to use it with a foam mat, so if you were thinking of just buying one sleeping pad/mat, this might not be the best choice as you'll likely have to double up. Overall, it's good for the budget price. It's not very thick and if you are a side sleeper, prepare for your arms to potentially going numb!

The Naturehike 7cm Camping Mat impressed me so much that I bought a second one for my wife. Its nylon construction makes it remarkably quiet compared to other pads, while the 3.5 R-value ensures excellent warmth retention - no more cold-induced knee pain in the mornings. Though thinner than my previous 12cm mattress, it provides perfect support, especially for stomach sleepers. At £91, it's a worthwhile investment combining comfort, warmth, and durability in a well-designed package.

I bought this to go wildcamping with my girlfriend. I’ve got Thermarest Xtherm, Exped Downmat 7 and Light Tour 7.5 single mats. The Thermarest and Exped mats have been used extensively and are currently in for repair. The Light Tour mat actually beats them both for comfort. This one looked similar so I took a gamble. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this given the price but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s well made with a robust material. It’s not ultralight but considering it’s a double mat it packs down quite well. Fairly heavy but to be expected if you want it to last more than one season. I’m 18.5 stone and I slept really well on it. It’s not that thick though so when sitting or kneeling, expect to feel the floor. I’ve not slept on it with my girlfriend yet as we’re waiting for warmer weather. Definitely not a winter mat as it’s not particularly well insulated. That didn’t stop me having a good nights sleep with a decent sleeping bag though. Long term durability is yet to be seen but Naturehike quality is supposedly very good these days.

Bought two of these, great for one use. both failed after about 10 careful uses. Both were always used with foam mats under. Unrepairable slow deflation. A complete waste of money

Nice n soft worth the money

This is for the 196x64x8cm, 4.6R. Packs down & more importantly repacks down small including inflation sack and bag. It's not ultralight - the kitchen scales think it's 879 grams. Comfort-wise it's not bad at all, I'm 6'2 & around 17 stone & I can get comfortable. Temperature wise, been OK at between 6-8C for 2 nights, so could be around the claimed 4.6R. Noticeably warmer than my Klymit insulated V that claimed 4.4R, but in reality seemed nowhere near. I'm knocking off a star as it's not 650 grams, and if you move around a bit it is quite noisy, probably due to the amount of foil insulation inside. Don't imagine you are going to make too many friends if you are sharing a tent. All in all so far not bad for the money.

gefällt mir grundsätzlich zwar recht gut, lässt sich gut u schnell befüllen und auch leeren. Sie raschelt etwas laut aber damit kann man leben. ABER hab mich extra für diese entschieden wegen der Größe da von EXPED aktuell nur 180cm Länge verfügbar war und diese hier mit einer Länge von 196cm angegeben ist. Ich bin 192cm groß weswegen dies sehr wichtig ist. Leider ist die Länge NICHT 196cm sondern höchstens 190cm, ganz genau gemessen eher nur 188cm, also komplett falsch angegeben. Auf der Kartonverpackung der matte steht eindeutig 196x64x12cm und R-wert von 8,8 genau deshalb habe ich diese bestellt, aber direkt am Stausack steht: 183x64x8cm und R 5,8 also etwas ganz anderes und vollkommen verwirrend. möglich dass der Stausack für mehr Varianten verwendet wird, aber da die tatsächlichen Abmessungen nicht stimmen ist dies schon sehr eigenartig. Und dass bei einer Isomatte um eur 150 kein Reparaturset dabei ist verwundert mich auch sehr... da die Angaben nicht stimmen definitiv KEINE Empfehlung. ich schicke die Matte retour und werde nie wieder etwas von dieser Marke kaufen!
