It is an absolute game changer for preparation of pizza parties and makes things really easy and so enjoyable. Such a great company to deal with and you really are in safe hands. Ordered for a special occasion. Was excited but opened the box on my husband’s bday to find 2 panels completely broken. Was really disappointed as it looked absolutely great, really nice quality and we couldn’t wait to use it for our pizza party. I contacted Slyced directly and Tom has been incredible. He explained that they had some stock damaged through no fault of their own and that he will provide us with a replacement. Having several family businesses of our own we realise that damaged stock is a real nightmare. Will update further once replacement is received but I have been very impressed with the customer service and integrity of this company so far. I would urge anyone in the same boat as us to contact Slyced direct! Also Amazon says ‘we don’t know when this item will be back in stock’ which made me more concerned than I needed to be. Such a great product and I thought that I’d missed out but actually Tom has reassured me that more stock will be available in around 3 weeks time and he was able to supply us with a replacement when Amazon doesn’t have any stock left. Thank you Tom and we are excited to received our pizza rack.

Updated! September 2024 I had one broken one and I contacted the company who were really helpful and said a previous batch had been dropped in the container and about 6% were damaged. I was assured by a really lovely man that this wouldn’t happen again as all the new ones had reinforced bases. I ordered again and it’s really well made. No damage and a good quality piece of kit. I have no hesitation recommending it - hope that helps someone ☺️ July 2024 Gutted as the product otherwise looks great but this is clearly a weakness in the actual product as it was very well packed so must have been faulty when packed or smashed in transit?

Perfect, exactly what we wanted and goes nicely alongside our ooni for creating lots of pizzas when we have guests. Very glad I bought it.

Great concept but base was broken when opened. Packaging in tact so must be a production issue - previous reviews mention the same. I would have returned it but price increased by £15 so decided to fix it. Works fine. Consider re-enforcing base as central point of weakness.

Looks lovely, but unfortunately base has broken into two. Tried to contact seller, but as fulfilled via Amazon, got referred back to Amazon, who told me to contact seller! Amazon eventually tried to resolve, but product is now out of stock, so no replacement available. Going to my local DIY store to see if I can buy wood to make a replacement base.

I was eyeing this up for awhile before finally taking the plunge. The quality is excellent and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Considering the price of a single, high quality peel this set is an absolute bargain. I always had problems with laying pizzas all over the table and taking up a ton of space. This makes the whole process a lot more convenient and helps to add to the fun. I had a minor enquiry for the company and have reached out to them via email. The response was immediate and really great. Really impressed all around.

Mon papa ayant eu un beau four à pizza pour son anniversaire quelques mois au paravent, j'ai voulu lui offrir quelque chose en mien avec les pizzas, et étant donné que lorsqu'il fait ses pizzas, il y a plusieurs plats éparpillés de partout, je me suis dit que ça serait aussi pratique pour quand il fait ses pizzas, qu'au moment où on passe à table, et j'avais raison ! Mon père a adoré, très pratique, très simple à monter et surtout c'est solide, avec les coussinets en gels anti dérapant, ça ne risque pas de glisser du plan de travail ou de la table ! Je recommande vivement !

This wooden pizza rack was exactly what I needed and the craftmanship was impressive as there were no chips or dents to be seen. Each peel are beautifully made and very high quality. They're very smooth to the touch and light weight for easy pizza launching. I would make a bunch of pizzas and leave them stacked in this rack so guests can easily start to eat a slice or two while they are freshly made and hot. I also make them in bulk and leave them on the rack before I freeze them for my kids to pack for school. Everyone in my family has some kind of food allergy and this significantly helps reduce cross contamination as the pizzas can be divided by the different shelves and not share a same platter. One of my favorite features is the easy clean-up as the peels are made with bamboo and mineral oil to prevent any sticking. I just rinse it under warm water the little food residuals just slide right off. I've used the serving side of each peel as a charcuterie board as well. This rack has been so space saving and very convenient for our family.

I bought this product thinking worst case, even if I don’t use it, it is 4 very nice looking bamboo serving paddles or cutting boards. Just got done putting it together and I’m thrilled! This is a well thought out product with great quality. The packaging is superb with everything well-protected. As I had bought one other small item from Amazon the Slyced box came inside a larger Amazon box…but think it would have been fine either way. The instructions and photos are well-written and clear to understand. There is a QR code for video instructions but I didn’t bother. It assembles with 12 nice allen head bolts that go into embedded anchors in each piece…very solid…and the allen key is provided. Nice 3M stick-on rubber feet for the base. The finish of all the pieces is very smooth and just has a real quality feel. I intend to use it with my Roccbox to speed my process for small parties. I do not plan to launch from the paddles as experience tells me that will require bench flour (flour/semola rimacinata/semolina) to prevent sticking. Instead I will use the bench flour while they are on the paddles in the Slyced cabinet but transfer to my slotted anodized aluminum Gozney launch peel where I can shake away the excess prior to launch. Only suggestion for an accessory product for Slyced to create is a 12” metal mesh cooling rack option that is sized to slide into the rack’s slots once pizzas come out of the oven but prior to serving. This is the best way to preserve an excellently baked crisp crust. -Tim Dykema
