I purchased this piece, and installed it on a 2017 Ford Fusion SE. My mom's transmission would not go into any gear, did a little research in underneath the hood I found this piece to be broken not allowing proper engagement. Ordered this, came in a couple days installed the part and the fusion was back on the road.

Ford wanted my car for a day to change this part. It only took 15 minutes and works perfectly.

Just what I needed

Save yourself some money and buy part number 14057 on here. This would not stay on at all. Total junk, unless you like getting under your hood a lot to push it back in place. 14057 doesn't list Ford escape as a model it will fit, but it absolutely does. Fit perfectly and doesn't come off!

My car started having the shift fault error message pop up, a quick search later I found out that a bushing was likely missing and needed to be replaced. I found this listing and it looked correct, so I went ahead and ordered it and was able to put it on my car to resolve the issue. I'm not sure what the white plastic piece is for, as I only used the yellow bushing.

It worked great for the first week or so, but then it started to fall off at random intervals. The yellow silicone piece fits on the shifter link on the transmission tightly, but does not fit inside the cable link very well.

Yellow plastic parts get realy soft wen they get hot and the shift cable is next to engine so it get hot and they pop out fast once they get hot

After thinking I had a major transmission issue with our 2014 Ford Escape SEL 1.6L, it was such a relief to find it was such a cheap part to replace (FORD why make something so important out of plastic). One has to simply reach down into the engine and snap in the molded piece attached to the shifter cable, then fasten it to the metal nipple. ONE THING THOUGH, I initially put the cable on upside down and the thing kept popping off... don't do what I did and make sure its on correct, as it does not have any markings as to which side is up. The original bushing snapped off while driving so I had nothing to reference during install, only the loose cable dangling.

Es perfecto para escape 2014 quedo bien entra con cierta presión pero así es como debe ser se debería de cambia cada 50 ó 60 mil kilómetros o al menos revisarla la mía fallo a los 70 pero es una lata si te deja tirado poner en Parking manualmente y de preferencia desconectar la batería hasta la reparacion

Es la medida adecuada pero el material es blando, a diferencia del original que es plastico rigido, si no se coloca bien puede causar que se caiga.
