Is there a cover attachment?

While the paper work and the website say that you can use your existing seat and cover assembly, that is only "kind of" true. The long bolts for the seat riser are designed to pass through the seat hinge, and if you have a new "click to connect" or "flip to lock" seat hinge, it will not work. You must use a old style seat hinge set up that has bolt holes in it. I end up using a seat assembly with a plastic hinge to make it easier to drill out the bolt hole to accommodate the large lag bolts that are supplied with the Vive seat riser assembly. If you have an older seat set up, it will probably work just fine, but if you have a modern seat with the quick disconnect feature, it will not work. All that said, even with having to get a new cheap $19.95 toilet seat to go with this , it only took about 15 minutes to install, and once installed, it is quite sturdy.

I need to remove the raised seat and don’t know how to do it. Has anyone tried that? Any instructions? I have the old hardware.

Underneath the rear of the seat there are 2 screws. Just remove the screws with a screwdriver or phillip's head screw driver and you can remove the seat.will

What is the width from of the entire product from handle to handle?

Sorry I don't know but I believe I read it in the product description

Do you have to put a tolit seat over this ?

Yes. You remove the regular seat and place it on top of the riser. Long screws are included to secure them all together.
