I do have an issue with this equipment, but first the good parts. It's a nice piece of apparatus that gives you back the desk space lost to monitor stands, and provides a flexible way of handling the monitors, moving them in to place when using them and out of the way when not using them, or sitting back watching a movie. Easy to assemble with all the pieces labelled clearly, and the instructions are easy to follow. They even give you an array of screws sizes for the vesa plates, and give them in pairs, so if both of your monitors use the same size screw, they have you covered. Shame neither of my monitor manufacturers specified the size of screw needed for their vesa mounts, but I got lucky and opened the right bag of screws first time, so the other bags are still sealed and i have no loose screws lying around. Overall I give the product 5/5 Now for the issue. The idea they present in their assembly guide is that you mount their vesa bracket on the back of the monitor and then just slot the monitor on the arm's vesa mounting plate, and that's easy except when it's not. One of my monitors (Gigabyte) has the vesa mounting in a recessed aperture which in itself is not an issue, but when I tried to slot the monitor onto the arm's vesa mounting plate it would not go on because the length of the mounting plate was too long, it overlapped the monitor's vesa aperture so the arm's mounting plate could not slot into the vesa bracket. I had to disassemble the arm's vesa mounting plate, then mount it directly onto the vesa mounting bracket on the back of the monitor, which I managed to slide into place with a bit of effort. Had that not worked I would have had to remove the vesa mounting bracket from the monitor, slide the vesa plate into the vesa bracket, then connect the complete vesa bracket onto the monitor. Having managed to slide the vesa mounting plate into the vesa mounting bracket, I then had to support the weight of the monitor while I reattached the vesa mounting plate to the arm, which was tricky but manageable. This issue is not the fault of Bontec, nor the fault of Gigabyte, just a convergence of the implementation of a industry standard fitting by two different manufacturers that were not working together. If I had to say who could have thought of this problem, I'd say it could have been the Vesa design panel, had they specified a clearance around the Vesa mounting then perhaps these two companies working independently of each other would have left enough room for the monitor to be mounted as intended. So this is an issue you should be aware off, but it is one that I feel you should be able to overcome if you run into it with a little effort, there enough points in the assembly where you can intervene to solve this kind of issue.

Considering this was only £19, this product is high quality and exceeded my expectations. The metal has a nice painted finish and is very adjustable. It can easily hold two 27 inch monitors without bending / collapsing. Be careful when installing this, it requires a solid desk. I initially installed it straight onto my IKEA desk, but it crushed the surface. To fix this, I used a small slab of wood between the desk and the clamp. One small problem is you can only vertically adjust the monitors individually by a centimetre or so, so if you have two different branded monitors they may not align perfectly. The cable hooks are a nice addition to help manage your monitor cables too. Also, this product leaves a lot more space on the desk, since there are no stands. I bought this from Amazon warehouse, and it came without a box. I was sceptical that it would work for my set-up as a clamp isn't suitable and there was only 1 grommet hole on the right hand corner of the desk. I would have preferred a more central set up with the second monitor on the left, but I got this with the monitor on the right. It turned out to work really well, strong, sturdy, quite posable. No complaints at all really. A perfect (and cheap) way to free up desk space and repurpose an old monitor that was sitting there doing nothing. It's very stable, there is decent cable management solutions built in. Height and rotation adjustments are good, and it looks great.

The stand works great, feels strong, and is very easily adjustable (on the swivel action) once set up, but the mounts needed packing with paper to get the angle right, with that done it’s very stable though. Overall good for the price.

Great value for money. Good quality and sturdy. I have it holding two 32" monitors without and stability issues. Easy to assembly and comes with all the tools you need. Apparently too big to fit in an amazon locker when trying to order but would have fitted just fine as the box is quite small!

Great product, easy to assembly and came with all the tools required to build it, albeit there wasn’t much needing built. Also came with an assortment of screws to fix your monitors (mine were VESA so easy) The arms don’t adjust individually vertically so if you have different branded monitors then they might not be at the same height. If you have OCD you will have the same monitors anyway 😂 I’m very happy with the product. It gives me so much more desk space. It’s solid and well built.

Awful!! This stand does not support the weight of the monitors it states. Not only has it damaged our new desk from bending over forward but we’d also have two broken monitors if it wasn’t for the sheer luck that someone was sat at the desk to grab the expensive monitor at the exact point this stand failed and collapsed. The second monitor luckily just slowly went down and rested on the desk. It sits straight until you add a monitor to it.. then it just slowly bends forward until it eventually gives way. It also doesn’t allow you to push the monitor back towards the wall as the weight of the monitor just keeps pulling the arm forward. So you basically end up with your monitor at a weird angle at the front of your desk. Useless. Don’t buy. I’ve contacted the seller on Amazon and directly through their website and had no response. I’d like a refund. Tempted to go through my bank about this as it’s an awful product that I’m not willing to waste £50 on.

Después de casi un año de uso, puedo decir que este soporte de doble monitor es excelente. Desde el primer día ha sido sólido, estable y muy fiable, sin holguras ni desgaste con el paso del tiempo. Los brazos mantienen perfectamente la posición de los monitores. La instalación fue sencilla y los materiales se sienten de buena calidad. Permite una gran libertad de movimiento: altura, inclinación y giro, lo que ha mejorado muchísimo mi ergonomía y comodidad al trabajar. Además, libera bastante espacio en el escritorio, lo cual se agradece. Lo mejor es que en todo este año no me ha dado ni un solo problema, ni tornillos flojos ni pérdida de estabilidad. Cumple exactamente lo que promete. Sin duda, una compra muy recomendable si buscas un soporte de doble monitor duradero, resistente y funcional. Volvería a comprarlo sin dudar.

Producto recibido muy rápidamente, perfectamente embalado con cada pieza en su propia bolsa de burbujas, todo nuevo y en impecables condiciones. Montaje muy rápido y fácil, viene con las herramientas necesarias y tornillos de sobra para varios tipos de pantallas, en mi caso dos de 17 pulgadas, que han quedado perfectas, seguras y estables, permitiendo dejar la mesa muy despejada y ordenada. Impressed! Especially for the price, the black powder coated metal looks very high quality. All the parts and pieces seem great as well. It didn’t take long to put together myself and it turned out great. So happy I ordered this!
