These are great, all natural wood, non polished cooking utensils and exactly what I was hoping for, so I am very happy with this product!! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to reorder this set since the first batch was not acceptable (the packages seem to have been opened already -it may have been a return- and the wood was rough to the touch and had some splinters and there was a chipped part on one of the utensils where it would be touching food). When I emailed them, they responded immediately and sent me a refund right away so I could order the item again, if I desired. So I did. Glad I gave it another chance, because the second set I ordered was perfect!! I read some other reviewers complain that they were thin, I personally like the thickness and dimensions of these utensils, but I have small, yet strong hands, so maybe that makes a difference. I do recommend this set as they are one piece of natural wood, as opposed to glued pieces like bamboo. I was looking for a safe, non toxic, all natural and sustainable cooking utensil set not made in China and this was it!! I’m very please with this product. Plus, the customer service was great and they checked in to make sure my second order was satisfactory, which it was and that makes me a very happy, satisfied customer for sure!! and for the price, it’s a great deal!!

These spoons are very nice! Exactly what I was looking for to replace others I’ve had for a long time.

I read some complaints about the wood being too rough or unfinished. I wanted to be sure to place this review and say Thank You to those who made this product. It's not easy to find unfinished wood kitchenware. Most of it is contaminated with a petroleum product called mineral oil. Most people seem to have the deranged impression that because the FDA has approved mineral oil for food contact and called it food safe/food grade that it is. As somebody seeking a pure life especially in the kitchen I am in strong disagreement with the use of a petroleum derivative to oil a food-contact surface. I don't trust the FDA to make choices for my health and I know it is only up to me to make those choices. The kitchen set is not rough. The implements are nicely sanded and are perfectly usable as they are. The beech wood is a great choice. If I feel so inclined to oil any of the pieces, I will use linseed oil. I would recommend these tools to any health-conscious individuals who care about living a pure life. Thank you Ecosall. I feel fortunate to have found this set. A great value and a fair price. They were a gift for my daughter, and she says they’re very rough and there are splinters of wood coming off where the holes are drilled for the handles and the more she uses them the rougher they become. I bought a set for myself several months ago and I haven’t had a problem with them so I’m not sure why the change in the quality.

This set of wooden kitchen tools are very nice, well made, & sturdy. I did have to lightly sand a few spots with some fine grit sandpaper. They sanded nicely, I wiped them down, hand washed & dried them & laid them on a dry towel overnight. I then did a light oil treatment on them with some food grade Boos oil. This oil was recommended for use on my John Boos wooden cutting board. The oil preserves the wood, cuts down on staining & repels water absorption when hand washing. The bowls of the spoons aren't very deep, almost flat, but I really like this set and have used all the utensils. Each item performed well and as expected. I recommend & am happy with my purchase.

Very Nice

Love the product. No finish on them so healthy. I am phasing out plastic utensils so these are a nice looking and safer alternative. Plus they are better for the environment. Great value and made in the Ukraine. Well worth the wait. I would buy them as a gift in the future.
