Easy to use and turns out really nice
I used it to change the color of my Chevy emblems and I think it turned out really well! Adhesion is good and can be moved after placement but once you put heat to it it’s stuck like glue! Super smooth finish as well You can use it on anything I’m actually thinking about trying it on rims next! So high marks for functionality. This vinyl is kind of thin I’ve definitely had decals that were twice as thick but it seems to hold up well no chipping or peeling on my front emblem yet after a couple of hundred miles! I will buy this vinyl again and I will be getting it in black to try on my and my wife’s cars rims!

Learning curve
Only giving 4 stars. This was my first time using vivid wrap, I have always used 3m. Some of the wrap was damaged when a received it, only the outer one or two layers of the roll, but still frustrating. I ordered 3 rolls, two of the Miami teal, and one matte black to redo some of the matte black already on my car while replacing some with teal. I thought I was ordering the gloss teal, however I got the matte teal. I went back and looked and it says I ordered the matte, even though I remember clicking the gloss teal. Kind of bummed and not sure how that happened, but it is what it is. The Miami teal is much harder to work with than the matte black as it’s thicker. It’s also harder to work with than the 3m wraps because it’s thicker and doesn’t seem to stretch the same. All in all I don’t regret my purchase, however I’ll definitely be keeping these things in mind before ordering wraps again and choosing if I go with vivid or 3m. For the price, it isn’t bad wrap though. Just keep in mind it is harder to work with than 3m wrap, and make sure you have a good heat gun to help with stretching and molding the wrap to the car without air pockets/bubbles. I will also say so far it has seemed to hold up well, however it hasn’t even been a month yet either so time will tell. The matte black also has more of a gray appearance than the 3m matte black. So you can tell if you previously had 3m on your car and planned to use vivid to replace a few panels of the wrap. Also for note, the 3m wrap on my car lasted over 10 years with minimal issues (ex husband backed into a pole with my car and damaged the wrap in a few spots). So I have pretty high standards for wrap. Also don’t forget to order the 3m vinyl wrap edge tape if you want the wrap to stay on and last without peeling off! I didn’t see any for sale by vivid on here so I went with 3m again on that. Again, still not bad for the price even if it only ends up lasting a year or two. (Will update if I have issues with the wrap later). If you’ve never wrapped a car before, make sure you have the right tools too, it will make all the difference in how your wrap job turns out. I felt the need to write this review because my shop had only ever worked with 3m wrap, but since I’m currently home pregnant, I decided to look at other options to redo my car at home by myself. Also- heads up! Matte Miami teal, has sparkles in it. Which I think is odd since it’s a matte wrap. Picture is of my car after wrapping the hood with matte Miami teal (yes it needs washed badly) the sparkles in the matte make it look funky and almost a different color.

Interior wrapped and I’m happy
I drive a 2009 BMW 328i and I ordered (3) rolls of 1.5ft x 5ft and I still have a roll left after wrapping my trim . This just upgraded my car for-sure . I have been wanting to wrap this brown trim for the longest and now I won’t ever go back . I felt a piano/gloss black would have looked better but I knew the dust and smudges would have drove me insane . I’m glad I went with the matte black ! I love black on black 😎 looks I give it a 5/5 . Alright now time to review the product’s leniency! It’s tough! I recommend laying your trim on it and applying pressure from <—-middle —-> out by hand . Peel back and crease out bubble as you go . Once you’ve laid the wrap to your object , lay it down wrap side up and apply heat from your heat gun in and out to lay it down . Don’t hold it too close or too long or you’ll burn a hole through . Now work your way from one side to the other don’t jump around . Take your time and don’t force the wrap . It gets tough quick so heat , set your gun down . Pull and repeat . Make sure you have a razor blade , heat gun and (optional) squeegee. I didn’t use a squeegee because my hands and fingers were enough . Also quick tip . SAVE THAT SCRAP ! You can wrap a lot of small things with it ! Overall I’m happy with my purchase and I’ll order more if this wrap takes a beating !

Tears easy. Not impressed
The color is nice but the vinyl feels a bit brittle and tears easily. I bought 2 rolls and the edges on both were already torn when I took them out of the box. I would have sent them back if I didn’t need a temporary project done now. I was told in a car wrapping class to stay away from 3mm but thought it would condone for this.

Bought for a "Gengar" theme car. Color could probably not be anymore perfect!
Used to wrap car. Works well ,looks good. Will try and upload pictures later. Wrap was easily installed (with professional help) , I was helping some of the install and would definitely recommend. With patience and a steady hand and the right tools, anyone can do it

THE ULTIMATE WORSE.
Go elsewhere. Seriously, get 3M, or anything else. If you're considering this wrap to wrap your entire car, don't do it. Kept getting "fingers/wrinkles" no matter what. Yeah, you can take it out with heat, but then you literally have to work mm by mm to get it to cooperate with you. The tackiness is...strange. Some parts seemed tackier than others. I had to wrap around a trim--making sure I pressed it tightly around it. The next day it lifted from the trim causing a bubble in the center. If there was an actual air release, or if it would have adhered better, the bubble shouldn't have been there. Less than a quarter through the roll, there were SEVERAL (at least 10) feet of damaged vinyl. I contacted Amazon and they told me I needed to return it. It was over a week, I no longer had the box and it would have just been more of a hassle. If you're trying to wrap a flat surface, then sure, this will probably work for you. I used other brands before and should have stuck with them. That's what I get for trying to save money. Oh, if it gets slightly cold, it will rip when you're trying to work with it. Another reviewer posted a video of his hood wrapped saying to do it correctly. His hood was sanded. You shouldn't have to sand you car before wrapping. I did all the prep procedures and this wrap still came out horrendous. The air release is only in certain parts. I ended up having several bubbles all over the car. Wasted $300 on this product. If you have a sports car with sharp edges, don't even bother. I could keep going, but this wrap was such a headache. I would NOT RECOMMEND at all. UPFATE: Went to peel off some of it after trying to get it to work forever, and it peeled off my clear coat on my NEW AUDI. $&#! this vinyl SUCKS!

Quality wrap, easy to lay and very forgiving
Great produce and very forgiving if thinking about wrapping yourself this is your sign to try it . After a face book market place rip off and having my bike down for two weeks for terrible wrap job I saw it and decided I could do better than this and that exactly what I did . I wrapped the panel at 1:30 am after riding for hours on the street for my bday and working a full shift earlier in the day and still did better than the scam artist who sold me my wrap due to the quality of this product . The front z panel I wrapped the rear two panels he wrapped but even I cleaned those up and can tell once redone with this product bike will be amazing all for 80 bucks for a 10x5 sheet . Ps make sure you pick up a small heat gun wrap can not be installed without it and will not stick if you some how get it lay over
