They work and look great on my MTM .50 cal Ammo Cans
I have used these locks on gates and storage sheds in very humid conditions (New Orleans, LA) with excellent results, so they were an obvious choice for me to lock my MTM .50 cal ammo cans. When I received them, as soon as I opened their package, I put a few drops of Hoppe's No. 9 Gun Oil on the top openings for the lock shank and in the key opening at the bottom of the lock. After inserting the key and turning it seven or eight times to help distribute the oil through the lock to each of the tumblers, I put one of the locks on each of the locking latches on my ammo can. When I need to open the lock, the key goes in easily, opens the lock, and comes out easily -- just as I would expect from a product from Master Lock. The Rustoleum finish may never have to deal with excessive moisture conditions where I store my ammo cans, but if they do, I'm confident they will handle those conditions very well. In any case, they give a very strong, very secure appearance to my MTM .50 cal ammo cans, and help keep people I don't want getting to my ammo out.

They are not rusting, that's great!
These were an Amazon suggested purchase along with the with the Trinity Job Site Box I ordered. The way the job box is built, these locks are covered all the time; however, I live near the Gulf and the salt air reaches everything. So far these locks have held up nicely, no rust.Sand gets into everything also, especially here. The contractor drop them in the sand when opening and closing the box, and the locks are still working great. The set only comes with two keys and I wish they had come with four, because the contractor lost one of them on the second day. The local hardware store made another copy easily.

Perfect for some things...
Not sure how great these are outside but they are a perfect fit for my Pelican Vault pistol case. Not too loose and not too tight, exactly what I was looking for.

Yup, they're locks
I have confirmed that these are two key-alike locks, that come with two keys. Both keys are the same, which is a good sign, and work. The locks stay locked, until I unlock them. They then stay unlocked until I close them (no key needed). They're definitely coated and fairly beefy. They open smoothly too. I have both on a MODIFIED Pelican case ( Pelican 1150 Case with Foam for Camera (Desert Tan) [note: this case can hold more than just cameras]) that I use for flying with a pistol in checked luggage. The TSA requires guns to be secured in such a way that they can't get to them (and they try when you check your bag), and two Master Locks do the trick. Also, the keys are numbered so you can order more locks straight from Master Lock that have the same key, or add more keys.4/5 Stars, but they smell good so I added an extra.

Gets the job done
I purchased this lock for the gym after a few thefts in the locker room. It seems to be slightly more secure than a standard combination lock. So far, it's worked just fine. I didn't really need the second lock but am sure I will find a use for it somewhere.

Great for our two outdoor gates
I purchased these for the two side gates leading into our backyard, and they easily fit the locks, seem solid, and look like they will last. I ordered these since I really wanted a set that only uses one key, and was happy to find these.Since a few reviewers have had problems with them rusting, I'll be sure to update my review after we've had them a few months. So far, so good, though!

Locks are ok but rust
These locks are alright and worked well the first year we had them. Now, one of them is rusted and will no longer close/ lock. I bought these assuming that the fact they were Rustoleum, they would not rust (they are being used one for a pool gate enclosure the other for a deck box). One still works, but overall, these are just ok.Edited 07/05/2013I emailed the company and told them about the rust. I told them where I purchased (amazon) and the date and they sent me a replacement on the spot. Did not have to do anything like send them my receipt or anything like that. Very happy with customer service. So far the new ones are good, but they've only been out for a couple of weeks.

Robust locks and matching keys
I was using these plus a third masterlock (combination style) to secure storage containers that ended up getting pretty beaten up. The combo lock was damaged, resulting in the face of it coming off, making it impossible to unlock (brute force with tools was needed). These locks also had some marks on them, indicating rough handling, but worked flawlessly. I appreciated the matching keys as I could keep one key with me and another in a safe, separate place.
