This donut cushion is extremely comfortable!! I love the memory foam! It is firm but has enough softness still for me. I really like that there is a handle on it to carry around with me, even if my hands are full with everything (diaper bag, bags, baby (haha)) I can still slip my hand through the handle and bring my cushion along! The cover is non slip, so No sliding around! I tried to slide around and I could not. I also like that the cover is easily washable, the zipper is nice and sturdy to unzip and zip it back up, I have Not had any issues with the zipper getting stuck it works nicely. I didn’t know how much I needed a donut pillow, as I am getting older I have found that sitting, especially in harder stairs like the kitchen table chairs I start to get lower back pain and start to hunch over I think it might somewhat be because I don’t have as much ‘cushion’ or not as firm.. so this cushion has helped to make it waaay more confortable when I am sitting, especially for longer periods. I would have Loved to have this cushion when I was pregnant! What a difference it would have made. This donut cushion will be perfect when I am driving too, or on the bus, those chairs are uncomfortable so this would be nice to sit on and then I can take the cover off and wash it.This would be a great gift too, right when I sat down I thought, ‘o my mom and grandma need one of these too’

This works as it should. It fits where it needs to fit to relive the pressure from the areas that need relieved.However, if you have a little extra weight on you like I do, then the memory foam will compress even more causing you to bottom out, so if this cushion is sitting on a HARD surface, then the pressure area will touch that area. So make sure to double it up with another pillow or cushion under this one to help ensure that don't happen.It needs to be a little more beefier/thicker so you don't bottom out. I bought this because I have a pressure sore on my Right Ishium and I was driving 12 hr from North Carolina to Indiana back home from visiting my son and New born grandson. So i needed some Relief.I had to use my 2nd cushion under it while driving so I didn't bottom out on the hard van seat. So it works if you don't have a few extra pounds and need a fallback cushion under it.
