Lutron Maestro Motion Sensor Switch | No Neutral Required, 150W LED, Single Pole | MS-OPS2-GR, Gray

These switches are great. Very responsive and reliable so far. I bought two for my shop and by the time you pass the threshold, they snap on. We had some garbage commercial ones that were installed when we moved in and they would never activate right... and if you manually turn the switch on, they would not turn off on their own. I have these set to shut off automatically after a minute. No matter if they came on automatically or by someone pressing the button, they always remember to turn off after one minute of inactivity. Sometimes, they turn off while you’re doing the duty.. but as long as you move a little bit, they’ll stay on. Very sensitive. We have black subway tiles installed in one restroom and sometimes it will turn on just from the reflection of you walking by. I think my sensitivity is on high but the settings are easy to change and you can definitely make them less emotional... ahem, sensitive. I would suggest folding up the manual that comes with it and shoving it next to the switch body behind the faceplate, before you close it up... that way you always know where to find it, if you need it for whatever reason. And no... it does NOT come with a faceplate.. they never do. That’s up to you to buy because there are so many styles and most people would be throwing away the one that would have been included... but never would have been included. I can’t believe people actually leave bad reviews for products for things they assume come with the item... even when it does make clear that it doesn’t include the faceplate.

If you need a simple motion-sensitive switch without any frills, this does the job.

Works well. Comes on quicker than the light with the garage door opener.

I bought this used and installed it in my room Im pretty good with my hands so it wasn't too difficult. MOST IMPORTANT Thing is having a ground wire. The device does not work without a ground wire. I have an older house and had to figure out how to have the third wire grounded for it to function. Now that it is installed properly I love the customizable settings. The instructions were a bit confusing but basically there are two buttons the main big button and a smaller one on the side. There are three settings you can change big button for time small button for mode and both(same time) for movement sensitivity. I have it at 1 min time out with manual turn on/auto off and low sensitivity. Works great for me. I am using a single led bulb to light up my room and it turns on and off as it should.
