GIBS Grooming Hang Man Dry Shampoo, 4.5 oz

Yes I’m a woman buying this product for herself — the feminine dry shampoos have typically horrid or overly perfumed scents so I wanted something more low-key, rustic and masc. This product is advertised to smell like cardamom, black pepper and sandalwood but doesn’t come close imo. The main ingredients listed on the back are passion fruit, cacao, and dragons blood. Overall it’s not a terrible scent but doesn’t come across as masculine/musk as I was aiming for. Upon trying the product on Day 2 hair, it did not reduce the shine or oil at my roots & it only seemed to add texture which makes it difficult to run my hands through my hair. I expect that with many dry shampoos, but am typically okay with it as long as it targets the oil & shine — but this did not. It fell short of my expectations.

Hey when you have dreads you don’t wash your hair as much. This product helps prevent smells from growing in your hair. Love it will continue to use it.

I think that dry shampoo is not the product for me. But this was a bit overscented anyway. I noticed it triggered allergies for several people in my vicinity on days I used it.

So I’ve tried a couple of dry shampoo sprays before and have found that they are either created just for women or if they are good and are for men they are pricey. I was very happy with this one. It is an awesome product for the I overslept and really need to get out the door. Has a manly scent without being to much and made my day after hair very manageable. If you’re looking for something like this I would highly recommend

I purchased for use on my beard because the GIBS stands for " guys into beard stuff"......the picture in the listing shows a can that looks to me like a pump spray. When I received the item and read the can, I found out it is not a pump spray...it is aerosol spray.....nowhere in the listing does it state that it is aerosol propellant so it's no good to me for use on my beard because who would spray aerosol near their face, nose and eyes....not me :(.....so I never used the product and had to return it so I have no idea about how it works or what it smells like. I would give it zero star rating because of the aerosol but it would not let me so I had to give it a one star rating!

I don't know about you, but there has been times after a long night of partying that, for whatever reason, I couldn't get to a shower for a while. This showerless shampoo is awesome for those situations. I gets rid of that gross oily feeling and will get you through on the road to post-party recovery.

There are some positive reviews so I had high hopes. But was completely disappointed. First of all it doesn’t even work, somehow left my hair feeling more oily and matted down than it was before. The cheap cologne scent is extremely overpowering and I can smell it on my hands and hair long after I put it on. I couldn’t stand it anymore, and I ended up having to be late and wash my hair instead. Tried it once more later, and didn’t work the 2nd time either. I will be going back to the “zesty lemon” dry shampoo I bought last time instead

Great product for an individual on the go wanting that quick freshen up look and feel, or for the guy who’s beard feels a little unruly give it a little Hang Man and brush that unruliness away.
