I try not to buy too many soft toys for kids as they acquire loads over time, but couldn't resist this little guy! He is really cute and looks just like an anteater... Perfect to give to my niece with some anteater themed books I had already purchased. He may not have the instant appeal to little ones of a bear or something more obvious, but his charm will undoubtedly work its magic over time. (Adults, it must be said, fall in love with him instantly). A quality soft toy and recommended!

i am writing this with him (the anteater who is called clarence) sitting on my lap. he is so perfect i cannot fully express this in words but i bought one for my girlfriend too because we were both so smitten and now we have both acquired best friends for life. if clarence could talk we have agreed that he would sound like a very polite old man and personally this is all i want in a toy. if i could give seven out of five stars i absolutely would he has more than fulfilled every expectation and i do not know how i ever lived a life without him. according to another review his favourite food is dandelion leaves and i just think that is excellent. so low maintenance and an excellent friend 10/10 best money i have ever spent

My partner and I first stumbled across this fella during a visit to Barcelona zoo. It was love at first sight. My heart skipped a beat, and I got this warm feeling across my entire body as if being wrapped in a blanket in front of a fire on a cold winter’s day. I was insistent on rescuing him and providing him a life of happiness and freedom, but on this occasion it wasn’t meant to be as my small carry on bag could not accommodate him. Oh why did I chose to fly with Ryanair. The next 24 hours were some of the worst of my life. I was walking around Barcelona fixated on this poor little anteater we left in the zoo to live a life in captivity. It is still the biggest regret of my life to date. On arriving back to the UK, I knew what I had to do. I instantly found this special little guy and knew I had to bring him home. Within 2 days, he was safe in my arms. Our reunion was the most special day of my life. I will never forget that moment of embracing him for the first time. I knew this was the start of a lifetime of happiness together. He enjoys sitting on my shoulder and watching Netflix together and cuddling up in the bed between my partner and I. His favourite song is jigglypuff by Pokemon and his favourite food is the boneless thighs from Nandos (Medium spice). How I ever lived without this little guy I will never know. Yours, forever. Phil

This is a lovely toy based on an unusual animal. The anteater has exceptionally high build quality and has lovely soft fur. That said, given that the fur is so delicate this might not be the best toy for very young children who like to play rough and/or may have sticky fingers. I suspect that, if the fur were to become damaged, it'd be very difficult to get it clean again. On the whole, I'd recommend this anteater. I have always been impressed with the Cuddlekins range and I think this animal is one of the best they make.

L'ho acquistato per un regalo scherzoso a una persona adulta che ama gli animali curiosi: è letteralmente impazzita. Il peluche è di qualità altissima, grande, morbido, con tipi di pelo diversi a seconda della zona del corpo, un adorabile nasone storto e un'espressione dolce ma realistica. Credo proprio che presto arriveranno altri peluche Wild Republic a fare compagnia al formichiere Principessa! Molto apprezzabili anche la sostenibilità e il messaggio ambientalista. La consegna è stata perfetta e il peluche non è arrivato affatto schiacciato, come ho letto in altre recensioni.
