Philips Quick Clean Pod - Philips Cleaning Cartridge for Men's Electric Shaver Series 5000, 7000, 8000 and 9000, Men's Electric Shaver Cleaner (Model QCP10/01)

All good. My husband is very pleased with this item.

I don't mean to be critical of those complaining this doesn't work with their Series 5000 but it does say in the product description that it works with the S588X and S589X models only. I bought this along with the Philips Shaver Series 5000 (Model S5887/13) ... https://amzn.eu/d/0idazYKP ... and it works brilliantly. The build quality is excellent and installing the cleaning pod was simple enough. The cleaning fluids fragrance is clean & fresh. Putting the shaver in the dock and pressing the start button kics off a clean cycle that lasts a minute. I'm new to electric shaving but I've no doubt this'll do what I'm expecting it to. I'm going to Subscribe & Save the 5+1 pods to see how I get on long term.

Series 9000 shaver compatible. £28 comes with one cleaning pod, so not the cheapest. Once opened the cleaning pod is a pain to insert and remove to relid as the pod cannot stay inside as it will evaporate/spill super easy, lost a star for this as its twice the size to store. I keep my shaver clean and wash after use. However it did remove more hair, so worth it for a rash free shave. Takes about 30 seconds to clean, so pretty quick. Doesnt work with 5000 series. Why they could have a compatibility chart in the description is beyond me.

Very good at cleaning the shaver. Leaves it clean and sterilised. Much better than just using water. Drop the capsule in the unit. Then the razor sits on top. Press start and let it do its thing. When finished I just leave it on the unit to allow fluid to drain back.

After having ordered this cleaner for my new Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver I noticed that the product description asserts this is not compatible with that model of shaver. However, fortunately it seems to work fine although I see Philips have an alternative version available that looks slightly different, having a chrome bezel.

Instructions over complicate. Unlock the lid Remove foil from pod Place pod in base Replace and lock lid Insert shaver System auto detects compatible razor and goes through the cleaning cycle. I didn't realise how dirty mine was. I stripped and removed most of the bad grime and ran the cleaning cycle again. Shaver works as if new blades fitted. Very happy.

An elegant and evidently well-designed product typical of Philips. However purchasers should be aware that the cleaning pod is NOT compatible with all Series 5000 Shavers (as I found out on attempting to use it). You need to check your EXACT model of shaver against the list of those compatible with the cleaning pod.

Excellent produit, nettoie profondeur, le rasoir, je l’utilise deux fois par semaine, ce qui me permet de garder la cartouche en place trois mois. Précision très importante, si vous achetez le rasoir, Philips, référence : 9402/11 qui est vendu simplement avec la pochette de transport, le socle, le cordon, et la petite tondeuse simple, ce rasoir est tout à fait compatible avec le Quick Clean pod, le rasoir est un i9000 prestige ultra, je n’ai jamais réussi à obtenir de façon sûre qu’il était compatible avec ce système de nettoyage, donc je vous affirme que vous pouvez l’utiliser sans problème

Funktioniert wie beschrieben; man muss nur genau auf die unterstützten Rasierer achten! Philips ist da äusserst variantenreich mit Rasierern und Scherköpfen ...

Fonctionne très bien, attention passer un pinceau pour enlever le plus gros des poils avant le nettoyage afin de faire durer le liquide de nettoyage plus longtemps.

Il rasoio resta pulito ed igienizzato. Utilissimo per mantenere il rasoio
