Perfect for my needs. Shop bought ham in sealed plastic is ok but once opened to get to contents the ham dries at edges. The cure (no pun intended here!) is to store the ham in these containers. Containers are shallow and can be slipped into low height areas of a refrigerator. Each can be used for separate products, even biscuits. The seal does look a bit simple, at first glance I thought it was not suitable, and once you get the hang of fitting the hinge they do close very well. Like most things in life the technique to open and close can be easy with a little practice. 3 family members so far have no complaints about it's possible "fiddlyness" as food storage is great. They can also stack on each other and have subtle colour differences to associate a colour with whatever is inside. I've used for Salmon, ham. Also I hate the smell of cheese in a refrigerator but these seal well enough to prevent the smells escaping. I'm really pleased with something not too expensive that reforms excellently as intended.

One of the best things I have bought! These are great for storeing food once you've opened their container. Sturdy, functional, super easy to clean and perfect and easy to use everyday.

I really love these trays - a great discovery for all the chilled products that are sold in more or less flat packaging in the supermarkets these days. Once opened, if you don't put the packets in some sort of covering, the food deteriorates (because the fridge works by extracting moisture from the air, which dries out any exposed food, of course). I was using so much space in my fridge using normal boxes. (The alternative is to cover the packs with clingfilm, which is ecologically (single use plastic-wise) unsatisfactory, and also cling film loses its cling when it is cold, so stops wrapping the food successfully.) With these trays, I can just pop the packet inside, which keeps all the nutritional information, sell by dates, etc., and food is protected perfectly. I pop the trays on their sides vertically in a basket in the fridge, which saves space and allows me to select the one I want easily just by flipping through. Some packaging is a little too wide for the tray, but this is easily solved by taking the food out of the packaging, placing in the tray and just keeping the top wrapper inside the tray with the food for the relevant info. The only reason I have given this 4 stars and not 5, is that the bar where the lid slots into the base (a sort of hinge) is quite weak, and I have broken two of these bars by twisting them into place in a hurry. Yes, my fault, but if they had been a little more sturdy it would just have resisted the twist (which wasn't particularly fierce - I have arthritic wrists!), not snapped (see photo). This hasn't deterred me from using them however, and I have supplemented those I bought last June with another pack of 4 this week. I would definitely recommend this product as it is very useful, just please be gentle with it!

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. They are fab for keeping cold meats fresh and well stored in the fridge. they have a solid coloured base and an opaque lid which clips on. sliced meat, cheese slices or sandwiches store in these really well and keep fresh as a daisy. They take up minimal amout of space in the fridge. Every home should have them!

Overall good product but if doesn't feel polished enough, there's some plastic bits sticking out on the sides that need trimming and one on the lids isn't locking because the lip was cut too short. The quality checkes should be improved.

These containers are really good for storing and stacking in your fridge. I have used them for various items, not just meat. Colour is not an issue so buying these at a much cheaper price is a bonus. Once you get the hang of clipping them closed they do keep food fresh and easy to store stacked in the fridge - husband tends to stack all sorts on top of each other and ends up crushing the food. This does not happen with these.

Glad to have bought this product, it keeps the cold meats fresh without drying it out the way it used to when I kept it in their usual packaging.

Replaces plastic bags in your fridge so looks better and also keeps cheese, ham etc fresh. I’ve knocked a star off because I do find them a bit of a faff when opening and closing. The lid comes off its hinges so there is a fair bit of clipping back on involved. It is designed to come off its hinges for easy cleaning etc so it’s not that it is broken, it’s just a bit of a pain. Nonetheless we are still using them in our fridge.

Vraiment très utile pour mettre les aliments en tranches pour éviter qu’ils dessèchent, tout en pouvant les empiler dans le frigo. Pour ceux qui disent qu’ils sont difficiles à ouvrir ou fermer, je ne peux rien faire pour améliorer l’utilisation de votre capacité à coordonner vos doigts et votre cerveau. 😊🧠

Praktisch,goed systeem.

Compré este set de 4 porta embutidos porque estaba cansado de tener los paquetes abiertos dando vueltas por la nevera y la verdad es que ha sido un acierto. El tamaño es perfecto para jamón, queso en loncha, etc. Cabe todo bien extendido y no se quedan las puntas secas. Lo que más me ha gustado es que son apilables y ocupan muy poco espacio. Además, la tapa se quita con facilidad, algo que se agradece cuando vas con prisas. Los he metido en el lavavajillas y han salido como nuevos, sin deformarse. Se nota que el plástico es de buena calidad y me da tranquilidad que sea libre de BPA. En resumen: cumplen lo que prometen, son prácticos, fáciles de limpiar y ayudan muchísimo a mantener el frigorífico ordenado. Muy recomendables.
