You get this thing in a box, you have to let it decompress for a bit, but once it puffed up I jumped on it and immediately got excited to go to bed that night. What I did to make it puff up ASAP (I didn't want to keep sleeping on the couch): -got it opened as soon as it arrived (let's say around 3PM) -moved to bedroom/put into place (MAKE SURE YOU OPEN IT WHEN YOU GET IT WHERE YOU WANT IT, IT STARTS TO BLOW UP QUICK) -left it uncovered (no mattress protector yet) and pointed some oscillating fans at it to help force some more air into the foam (this actually works and was blown up quicker on the sides with more fan air) -did NOT sleep on it that night, left it overnight and went to work next day -was able to sleep on it the NEXT night after leaving fans pointed at it for let's say around 30 hours (3PM day 1 to 9PM day 2), was then able to put on mattress protector and sheets and was good to go -can also leave it longer than that for better results, and also can measure with a ruler or something to see if its inflated to 10 inches (or whatever size you got) I waited a while to do this review since I wanted to test it and it hasn't gotten any sunken spots, hasn't gotten more compressed or anything. You do have to remember it is a foam mattress so sleeping certain ways may not be ideal for some people on this mattress. I am a side sleeper and its mostly been ideal for me but I could tell if you slept on your stomach you might be a little uncomfortable. However I find that its just sort of comfortable no matter what and makes sleeping on other mattresses feel like crud. I was also afraid that the foam would be too hot (waking up sweaty sucks) but it actually keeps pretty cool. I would like to try some of Zinus' other furniture now since it all comes in such nice boxes with very eloquent packaging.

Alright so to begin I was impressed with how fast shipping was. I had my bed within 2 days. Which is really impressive for a queen sized bed in a box. Set up was super easy. Just open the box remove protective plastic roll out where you want and come back a couple hours later to a fully inflated mattress. Really convenient for people moving into their new houses or even apartments. No sense in lugging those old century old mattresses around anymore house to house. It's been just over 3 months now and aside from rotating the mattress every month the sleep and comfort is amazing. Now all good things aside my order was messed up and I'm almost positive they sent me a king sized bed at 8 inches width(nice if you want an enormous bed for two tiny people) but still not what was expected and took up more space then nessicary and required a new bed frame so it was another trip to our local furniture department to return and spend. All in all a good bed and can't complain. Just wish they had have sent me the queen I requested at 10 inches instead.
