Great!!
No residue. If you do, it’s due to another product on your hair. Best lace glue, hands down. I applied 3 layers. My wig isn’t moving unless I say so! Get this glue!! It’s Not sticky, no mess! Anyone saying so isn’t applying their lace wig correctly.

It genuinely stays on for at least 2 weeks
I normally don’t write reviews. I saw this product being advertised on TikTok shop as a glue that wouldn’t lift under conditions like sweating, and I work on my feet all day. My first application of the glue has lasted for 2 weeks, much to my surprise. I’m used to buying boutique lace glue that usually runs well over $30, but lifts after about 5 days. All I really need to do is touch it up with some lace glue spray after about a week when the front starts to lift. I’m incredibly surprised because I was worried and skeptical due to the mixed reviews. Application technique makes a huge difference. My technique is to completely wash my hair and the lace with shampoo for application, use a cotton swab with alcohol to prep the area, and then use a skin preparing spray made specifically for lace and glue to help minimize bacterial growth and sweat. I apply 4 thin layers, allowing each layer to dry and become completely clear every time. I also apply a lace adhesive spray to the lace itself and allow that to dry while the glue layers are drying. Once everything is completely dry, I lay the lace onto the glue and press everything down by smoothing the palms of my hands around the unit (on top of the hair, so as not to touch the glue). I then wrap the elastic band around the glue line and blow dry the area for 2 minutes on a cool setting only, to cure the glue. I make sure I get under the band, and under all of the hair so that the cool air reaches the glue. (I’ve tried this with the blow dryer setting on hot, and it lifted. It has to be cool.) Nightly, I wrap an elastic band around the glue line and wear my bonnet. This helps protect the glue line from friction and lent from the bonnet, which could cause discoloration and make the line noticeable. Tip: I always use C22 solvent and a face towel for removal of the glue, so that I’m not ruining my lace by scrubbing too hard and the glue will come off easily after the solvent has time to set. After years of wearing closures, I’ve perfected my glue-down method as someone who works jobs that always require me to be on the move, and someone with combination/oily skin. I listed my routine, because the application method and maintenance can really make or break how well a glue will work. This is genuinely better than any $30 wig glue I’ve purchased, surprisingly.

My favorite wig glue 😍
One of my favorite glues. Not sure if it's because my skin is oily but three layers do nothing for me so I do 6 to 8 layers and noticed that the wig stays put longer. My wigs with 6 to 8 layers usually stays on for maybe a week or week in a half due to washing my face and putting lotion on which I feel yanks your skin from the wig little by little. I LOVE that the glue dries so freaking fast. I had glue in the past that took the longest to dry and felt like I was up all night trying to put a wig on. I think you should give it a try and she will always be my go to.

I love it
I’ve been very impressed with this adhesive. With proper skin preparation and thin layered application, I was able to achieve a secure hold for 9 continuous days with no lifting at the hairline. What stood out most was the consistency of the bond over time. There was no breakdown, no “shedding” of glue, and no irritation to the skin. Even after a full wash and blow dry at a salon, the hold remained completely stable. I would recommend allowing at least 24 hours for full cure before heavy styling or washing. Comfort is also excellent — once applied correctly, the unit feels very natural and almost “disappears” in daily wear. A key point is that fit and tension matter just as much as the adhesive. If the lace sits naturally without being stretched or loose, this glue performs extremely well. Removal is straightforward with isopropanol and adhesive remover, although it does take a bit of time to clean the skin thoroughly after extended wear. Overall, this is the best adhesive I’ve used so far. Reliable, comfortable, and long-lasting when applied correctly

Sticky and Quicky (not that type of quicky👀)
This is my favorite wig glue. It clears quickly and I have low patience so that’s good for me. You can layer it and it not become too much. It does help the stickiness when you layer it, but it’s not totally necessary. It’s never irritated my skin. It has irritated me tho, cuz it can get too sticky at times. It lasts months for me and I wear a wig about half the month just about every month. It’s also a great price if you ask me

Good for the weekend
The glue hold the wig in place with 3-4 layers, but by the 4th or 5th day, there is white residue that shows up under my lace. I wouldn’t say it’s entirely water resistant, especially after a few days of wear, because I sweat and am very active at work. By day 5, my wig starts lifting and comes off easily. I wrap my hair every night and in the shower btw. The glue is very sticky and tacky. When U wear headphones, the glue sticks to my head phones and i have to peel the headphones off my side burn. It’s a good value for the money you spend. It dries in like 60 seconds and dries clear initially. I don’t know why it leaves a residue after a few days tho.

Strong Hold for Short-Term Wears
I’ve been using the Dolla Hair lace glue for about two years, and overall it works very well for me. The hold is strong and reliable, especially when properly applied, and it performs well in humidity and everyday wear. I wouldn’t personally consider it fully waterproof, but it does hold up through light sweating and normal activities. For me, the hold typically lasts up to about five days, which works perfectly since I don’t keep my wigs installed for long periods. One important thing to note is that if I wear my wig longer than usual or skip using a skin protectant, the glue can cause irritation or breakouts along the hairline. With proper prep and a protectant, I don’t have issues. Overall, it’s a solid lace glue that I’ve consistently gone back to, and I’d recommend it for short-term installs with the right prep.

Mid Glue
Mixed feelings about this glue. It has a very strong hold but it gets so tacky throughout the install and definitely not oil resistant and just makes the lace look dirty after a while. It’s very hard to take off because it’s so sticky and gross. But it works well ig.
