Sport Psychology

Needed it for class, good price for rental

I bought it early for a class that I just started Monday Sept 30. I bought the book in the middle of July, been getting annoying messages to post a review so I decided that I will do so now...Nothing I know about the book as of yet, not even cracked open once. I will probably use this week. Hope it is helpful.

I reserve the second paragraph for the cons (if any) of the products I review. So if you are just interested in just that aspect, go ahead and scroll down --I personally had Arnold LeUnes (the author) as a professor and it was one of my favorite classes I took in college! The book is very interesting (especially if you enjoy sports) and a lot of the findings in the book are by Dr. LeUnes himself! He basically helped "invent" sport psychology which gives this book an extra bump! You are getting the beginning and the current information on the subject with awesome case studies and lots of interesting stories. I would recommend this book even if you are not taking his class. If you are a sports fan you can get inside your favorite player's head in this book! Fascinating read.CONS- There are none!

Every page had at least an entire paragraph underlined in pen. That's what I get for a $20 textbook with an "acceptable" rating.

This is the only textbook in college that I actually read every page of. I'm not even interested in sports and I still loved this book. It's very interesting and well-written. Definitely a different writing style than typical psychology textbooks.

I didn't even mind having to read this textbook because it is an easy read. Most textbooks are boring and very hard to follow and understand, but not this one. Dr. LeUnes (who also taught the class I took) did an excellent job writing it! 5 stars!!!
