Love the bright sunny pattern. Great size, easy to use and wash and seems sturdy. I love it for summer. Most of all the price was right and I love the lemon theme.

Bought these for my mother moving into a retirement home she's 86 and can't lift a lot. These plates are a nice weight easy to clean. The colors are bright and Mom likes the sturdiness of them.

They have the cons of melamine table wear, as they aren't microwavable, and like other epoxy or plastic items, they can be warped in the dishwasher or from exposure to high heat. However, I have a Bosch dishwasher, which has a heating element in the back, so washing these in the dishwasher is not an issue. The distressed, rustic look of these plates is appealing, especially for those of us who have incorporated that kind of decor into our living spaces. They look even better than the pictures. They are lightweight, which is appreciative when they are used by young kids, or older folks like me, who are starting to lose their affinity for heavy stoneware dishes. They have a smooth finish and wash up easily. I will probably order some bowls as well as some smaller plates in the future.

I now own these plates, as well as the pasta bowls and cereal bowls. We use them in our RV and I adore them all. They don't feel like you're eating off plastic plates... there is some good weight to them. The price is reflective of the quality. That said, my 4-star rating for the plates is because the outside rim of them actually is angled slightly downward, which is weird for plates. It felt almost like the material was still hot and pliable and when they sat too long the edges drooped. They still are good plates but if this is the actual design, I think that slight improvement would make them perfect.
