For sensitive skin & waterproof
I'm a senior and have been dealing with a stupid & annoying recurring abcess on my upper back on the left since last September. It's not all that big but boy is it difficult to try to hold a hand mirror and aim a bandage onto it. When I use smaller 2 x 3 bandages, which would cover it, I miss my aim many times and end up with the adhesive part covering the wound area. Not good. I have to toss THAT bandage and try again. I finally found these larger bandages that are 4 x 4. They're hypoallergenic. The foam pad is thick & absorbant but way too sticky for my particular wound so I cut a piece of dry guaze and place it against the sticky foam pad before applying the bandage. Works perfect. Otherwise, it would pull open the thin skin in that area and it would never heal. Another thing I especially like about these bandages is, they are water proof. I cannot not let the forceful water from the shower hit this stupid wound or it opens it up and causes it to become inflamed. I'm able to cover it up with one of these bandages and take my shower & shampoo my hair as I normally would and it remains dry. It stays on good adhered condition & I don't have to replace it when I dry off & get dressed. I definitely will purchase again and I recommend. Pretty easy on senior thin skin. Another thing I like is that I see these bandages in this same size at places like Walmart, Target, grocery stores etc. And, the price is always about the same no matter where you purchase them.

"When regular bandages just don't cut it — literally"
After having a couple of toes removed, I found myself in the market for something a serious step up from the standard bandages you grab off a drugstore shelf. My wife was handling the dressing changes at home, and we needed something that would actually stay put, be gentle enough on healing skin, and not turn into a wrestling match every time we had to swap it out. That's what brought us to these silicone foam dressings. First off — they stick. Really stick. We weren't constantly checking to see if an edge had peeled up or worrying about it shifting around during the day, which when you're recovering from foot surgery is a bigger deal than it sounds. Movement happens whether you want it to or not, and these stayed where we put them. The application is straightforward enough that my wife — who is not a nurse, bless her heart — felt confident doing the changes without a lot of fuss. The silicone border is gentle on the surrounding skin, which matters when that skin is already irritated and tender. My only minor complaint is that the sizing options could be a little more varied — we had to do some trimming to get the right fit for the wound site. Not a dealbreaker, just worth knowing going in. For post-surgical wound care at home, these are a genuine find. Definitely recommend if you're on the fence.

Did the job well.
These FRESINIDER Silicone Foam Dressings are excellent quality and very easy to use. The adhesive border sticks securely without irritating the skin, and the soft silicone layer makes removal gentle and pain-free. I really like the absorbent foam pad—it keeps the area protected and maintains a good moisture balance, which helps support healing. They’re also breathable, comfortable to wear, and stay in place well throughout the day. Overall, a reliable and effective wound care option that I would definitely keep on hand.

These have become a reliable part of my first-aid supplies.
These have become a reliable part of my first-aid supplies. What stands out immediately is the gentle yet secure adhesion provided by the silicone border. Unlike some traditional adhesive bandages that can irritate the surrounding skin upon removal, these come off with minimal discomfort. This is a huge plus, especially for those with sensitive skin or for dressings that need frequent changes. The foam pad itself is nicely absorbent. It effectively manages wound exudate without drying out the wound bed, which is crucial for promoting healing. I've found that these dressings strike a good balance – they're thick enough to provide cushioning and protection but not so bulky that they feel restrictive. Application is straightforward. The adhesive border makes it easy to position the dressing accurately, and it stays in place reasonably well, even with some movement. I appreciate that the silicone layer helps to prevent the dressing from sticking directly to the wound, further minimizing pain during removal. While these dressings perform admirably in most situations, for heavily exuding wounds, more frequent changes might be necessary. Additionally, while the adhesion is generally good, it might not be sufficient for areas with a lot of friction or movement over extended periods. Overall, the Silicone Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border is a high-quality product that offers a comfortable and effective solution for wound care. The gentle silicone adhesion and absorbent foam pad make it a superior alternative to many traditional bandages. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a reliable and skin-friendly wound dressing.

Excellent wound care dressing, protects wound & skin, absorbs drainage, & is water-resistant.
These silicone foam bandages were bought to cover a chronicly opened wound that frequently got re-infected if it was not covered. The foam in the dressing protects the wound to prevent shearing of the skin and absorbs drainage without leakage. The silicone with adhesive surrounding tthe foam forms a secure bond with the skin to contain drainage and hold the dressing in place until it is removed. The adhesive sticks reliably, but does not irritate or tear the skin when removed. The dressings are water resistant so showering with the bandage on does not weaken the adhesive bond or cause the edges to peel from the skin. This type of dressing was recommended by a wound care physician I was referred to for treatment of the recurrently opening, infected wound. The dressings come in various sizes for the user's wound care needs. These dressings were valuable in the care of my open wound until my recent surgery to address the complications from prior surgery. I will keep the remaining unopened dressings to use if needed and will reorder more if the need arises.

Silicone Bandages
Good price for the quantity. Unfortunately, the adhesive loosened when either wet or moist.

These are great and work well!
Love these! They keep wounds nice and soft so the scab doesn't harden and bleed. I always thought it was better to let a wound dry to heal but my MD told me no. I put one of these on, leave it for 3 days and the wound has shrunk considerably.
