As someone who takes both training and recovery very seriously, the RecoveryPRO from ProdigyX has been a total game changer these past few months. I purchased the ice bath mid-way through training for my first marathon ever and it completely leveled up my body’s ability to recover from hard workouts and long runs. I ended up finishing the marathon in 2:59:02 and I honestly doubt that I would have been able to break 3 hours without the help of daily ice baths. As I settle back into a more rounded hybrid training routine, it’s safe to say that the RecoveryPRO ice bath will continue to be a huge part of how I recover. I have only good things to say about the design, build, and overall quality of this product. The people over at ProdigyX clearly know what they are doing. The RecoveryPRO set comes with the inflatable tub and clip-on lid, a manual pump, non-slip mat, and carry bag. I was able to assemble it in less than 10 minutes and was impressed by how well-made and durable everything felt. Overall, if you are an athlete looking to get consistent access to cold water therapy, I can’t recommend the RecoveryPRO Ice Bath enough. After trying a cheaper (<$100) tub, this one felt like a quality yacht. Vulcanizes Fiberglas, with cauterized seams, it immediately reminded me of the Colorado River rafts that endure rocks and clumsy rafters. Very luxurious. I’m 6’4” and have no trouble being submerged up to my nose. Inflated to less than 7 pounds psi, it’s firm but giving. They provide a yoga mat to place on the ground for tusch con’mfort (I place a second, thicker one to make it especially cozy, and further insulate. Living in the NE, spring, water without ice or a refigeraor, water is a keen 48F. Package contains an efficient hand pump, carrying case. With a bayonet coupler, Inflating the base and lid could not have been easier. With summer coming, we will decide whether to go the “ice cube” method or spring for a “refrigerator” to keep it cool. Also, very light, about 20lbs. In the summer, I will pop in in my truck, inflated and take it to out mountain cottage. Obviously, my girlfriend and I very, very happy with this ice tub

As you can see in the video, the unit came with a faulty "water out" fitting as it leaks from the base of the fitting (which is factory installed). There are a few other reviews reporting similar issues, so this may be a weak link. I've contacted the company directly and they responded immediately. I have read a few reviews touting the ease of hooking up a chiller, not sure I agree with easy. While fairly easy if you have your own plumbing and fittings, it comes with nothing. Other companies include the fittings, as I have shown on on a different brand tub I have at another location. I have also shown this companies design, which I don't really care for. They supposedly have outstanding customer service. Otherwise, it's really quite sturdy and looks well made. 2-03-25 UPDATE: Adam from customer support has actually been awesome. While they offered to send me a new tub, we agreed that I would try and seal it first and get a partial credit. They agreed that if it didn't work or started leaking before 6 months, they would send me a new tub. Can't ask for more. I would order another one (and might) knowing they stand behind their product 02-10-2025: Turns out that both fittings dripped slightly from the base. They actually refunded the full amount and didn't want it returned. I actually REALLY like this tub, so I will likely try to get it sealed somehow, and might still buy another one.

This is a really great tub for the price. It inflates like a SUP and is surprisingly sturdy. It has pre-fab inlet and outlet ports so hooking up your chiller is easy. Wish it had a drain plug at the very bottom but you can drain to the lower port and tip it over from there. I change my water every other week so a quick disconnect adapter at the ports (you’ll have to buy these at the hardware store) is handy. I’m 6’ tall and have no issues sitting or submerging myself in the tub. The mat is a nice add on and I don’t need a step to get in. I say cool-ish in the title because the lid doesn’t seal the tank closed, just kinda sits on top snugly fastened by a four straps. Overall happy with it. Will update after a year of use.

We started cold plunging over a month ago, we had another product that did not last so since we do this daily decided to splurge and get the prodigy x. Bought this is in May, great construction, been outside all summer, interested to see how it handles the winter, it’s nice and big, easy set up. The chiller I use is vevor, runs around 500$ also very impressed at its ability to keep it cold even during the heat waves since it’s on the cheaper side 190 days of plunges and they’re both going strong

After using the standard round ice bath for months, I finally decided that I wanted something that 1) was big enough for me to stretch my legs out and 2) I could connect to a water-chiller unit I found this one on Amazon and even though the price of buying this ($800) is a bit steep, I figured quality is worth paying for, so I gave it a crack. I’m very glad I did. It arrived on the Gold Coast 4 days later. This design is exactly what I was looking for. It’s very spacious - I’m 6ft 2 and I can completely extend my legs out flat, whilst keeping my shoulders fully submerged in the water. Game-changer. It’s also a very strong build. Once inflated I’m impressed with how sturdy it is. I can sit my entire body weight (85kg) on it and it holds me easily. It's well insulated and the material is rock hard. Very impressed by that. It comes with a high quality pump and takes about 8 minutes to set the tub and lid up and clip them together. It also comes with a floor mat. Handy addition that is very helpful for not making an absolute mess with water around the ice bath (I try my best haha). It’s also very easy to connect to a water-chiller. 15mm threads connect straight into 15mm hose pipes that connect straight into the chiller. Works well. I purchased the chiller online too and love the complete set up. Overall I’m very glad I bought this one. It’s worth the money, I only wish I bought it sooner!

So I used to do the whole DIY ice bath thing... wheelie bin, kids pool, bags of ice from the servo. Figured, why spend money when I could just hack it myself? It technically worked, but honestly?
