Great product
Love this sling for my son. Easy to use .he can put it on by himself .he only had one working arm and hand. So this is great for his independence. When getting in the shower.

Shower Sling!
I bought this to help me after rotator cuff surgery. I didn't want to get the nice, expensive, supportive, daily wear sling wet while bathing. So, I purchased this one to use as a shower sling. It is very lightweight, but is supportive. The mesh is wonderful as it allows for shower gel soap to get to my arm and remains easy to rinse. It has held up well!

Need a good shower sling?
I had a major shoulder surgery and needed something I could use in the shower. It’s easy to adjust and fits well, it’s a comfortable enough sling (all things considered) and it offers the support I needed. And it’s more or less waterproof.

all you need.
perfect for showering after my shoulder surgery. Bonus, once I didn't need the more secure sling, I was able to use this one on a daily basis. It's simple, light weight, and easy to use.

Very secure but somewhat cumbersome and uncomfortable
I recently had surgery on my arm. Two of the restrictions were to not get the incision site wet for the first two weeks, and to not allow my arm to fully extend (IE keep it bent). Once I was given the OK by my surgeon to shower, I bought this sling so that I could support my arm. Right away, I can tell you that the sling works but is a bit cumbersome to wear. It covers a lot of the arm, which makes washing it difficult. It also isn't very comfortable. My arm will be swollen and sensitive for the next few weeks, and the mesh doesn't feel very good on it. I tried using it once and decided to go a different route. The best solution I got was from my surgeon. She gave me a few long rolls of gauze and told me to make a simple, makeshift sling for my arm. You take a length of gauze, tie both ends together to make a loop, put it around the back of your neck, and loop it a couple of times around your wrist. It holds the arm immobile enough to keep it from getting injured, but it leaves most of it uncovered so that you can wash it. It's also WAY more comfortable, at least for me. Definitely not as secure, but in my case I don't need the extra support. I prefer to have my arm more exposed in the shower. Because I wore a wound dressing and Ace bandages on my arm for two weeks after my surgery, the skin was quite dry and still covered with pre-op iodine solution. It took several days of light scrubbing with a loofah to get rid of all of it and to remove the dead, itchy skin. With the mesh sling in place, I could rinse my arm with water but not really wash it. Once I went to the gauze sling, I had full access to my arm and was able to really clean it and apply lotion to soothe my dry skin. It feels normal again. I'm glad I tried this sling and I will keep it with my first aid supplies in case something happens in the future. I hope I never have to use it-- I'm about as sick of surgery as anyone can be-- but it's useful to keep around just in case. It definitely has its place if you need to securely immobilize your arm while you shower or bathe, or perhaps in a field first aid kit if you have the room. However, if your arm only needs moderate support, you might be better off with a makeshift sling that exposes your arm more and makes cleaning it easier. It's actually a pretty good sling, but I'm docking it two stars mostly so that anyone looking to buy it will consider what kind of arm support they really need before making a purchase.

Perfect Lightweight Sling
Excellent, lightweight sling. I have used this after my shoulder replacement surgery. The heavy duty one which I received from the hospital immediately after my surgery was fine, however, I found this one worked well when I needed a break from the heavy duty one (especially when showering). It also dries very quickly after showering. In fact, after one week on the heavy duty sling, I pretty much wear this one all the time now (until I no longer require any sling at all). Well worth the nominal cost here on amazon prime.

Surgery shower mesh must have
The mesh arm shoulder sling proved to be highly beneficial following my recent shoulder arthroscopy. It significantly facilitated my post-operative recovery, particularly enabling me to shower without difficulty as the sling maintained its position securely. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product and unequivocally recommend it.

Light and supportive.
Following shoulder surgery have used this daily but only for support temporarily whilst showering or when washing my medical support sling. It’s light, airy, supportive and dries easily and is ready for the next day. I have had a lot of use from it. Would recommend.

Great sling, nice and cool
Definitely worth getting, especially during the warmer months. Had shoulder cuff surgery and I end up using this one during the day and a more comfortable one at night. Keeps my arm cool and the sweat down. I would recommend 100%

Cool sling
Bought this sling as an an alternative to the one issued to me by a&e for a shoulder injury which was too hot to wear comfortably. Thumbs up from the physio too. I am an average sized female and had the adjustable strap at the shortest level so not so good for small people
