Attractive, hefty walking stick that should last longer than I will. I needed a walking stick that would break down for travel, but would still be sturdy enough in use to provide the stability that I sometimes require. This stick answers both of those requirements very well. The three parts it breaks into fit very nicely into my carry on luggage, and when screwed together it is like one solid piece. The handle is comfortable and fits well in my hand. The major complaint in most of the reviews I have read is the included rubber tip is insufficient and easily worn out (which it is). I solved that problem simply by forcing a 1/2 inch quad-cane rubber tip over the existing tip and lower ferrule (see picture). The slight expansion of the ferrule holds the tip tightly. Although it might be considered anachronistic for cosplay, if you want a full-time walking stick that can hold up to daily use, it is a very workable solution. The only nit I have is that the rings at each junction and the lower ferrule would look better on THIS stick if they were also silver rather than brass colored, but it is certainly is not a major deficiency. While I can recommend this stick to anyone needing an attractive but sturdy walking aid, I can't say I would buy it again since I don't think I will be able to break or wear-out this one.

Love it except the rubber tip is so soft the the metal screw hits the floor and it kicks out. Not very safe I will have to make some adjustments.
