Great value for the money! I was quoted $250 for a repair, but decided to try this defrost heater instead, and it worked perfectly. I installed it myself, and three months later, there’s still no ice buildup in the back of the fridge. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with the same issue and want to save big on repair costs.

Fixed my freezing up problem, been working great fro about 8 weeks.now. I did buy the wrong part at first, from just following part numbers listed on Amazon sites. O took fridge apart got the right number, this one, and works great ow.

I ordered this part when my refrigerator fan started making noise. It was inexpensive and I thought that I would replace it while replacing the fan. Before I got it installed, the refrigerator stopped working. It turned out that the old defrosting element had gone out and ice buildup was causing the fan noise. I installed this defrosting element and a new fan and the refrigerator works perfectly now.It turned out to be fairly easy to install the parts and there are a lot of good YouTube videos showing you how to do it.
