Won't recommend unless this is the only option
The piece fits, glass is good, but the rubber part is too loose. Would recommend getting the original part if available.

Nikon D800 D4 viewfinder replacement
I needed a slim, rubber protected viewfinder replacement. This one doesn’t get snagged in my camera bag and protects the lens of my glasses. Comes complete with a new glass. Easy replacement. I’d buy again.

Disappointing poor from JJC - avoid this item
Had previous JJC products in the past which have been excellent. This DK-17 equivalent part falls well short of their previous items quality. The rubber ring on the part was loose from the outset and lasted less than a few hours before falling off and becoming lost. To make matters worse the underlying frame was then extremely difficult to unscrew and remove. At one stage it felt as though the main part of the camera view finder might get broken before it's eventual removal. Very disappointing for what has been an excellent brand previously. Avoid this particular item is my advice

Silicon grade too soft - the eyepiece will fall off from the glass piece.
In the title - this is a good price and the glass and metal part is fine and well coated, but the silicone is way to soft. It deforms and moves around in a way the Nikon original doesn't. I just removed the silicone, but if you want the protection for glasses you might need to buy the additional Nikon rubber eyepiece.

Spend a bit more for a genuine Nikon one.
I hadn't tightened the eyepiece for my D850 sufficiently after cleaning and it fell off somewhere in the Lake District. I thought I'd give this a go as a replacement. Within 2 weeks the rubber surround kept falling off and I noticed that my photos were skewed to the left. After investigation this seemed to be due to the glass not being correctly seated in the eyepiece. The surround fell off for the last time this week somewhere in a field in Southampton. I bit the bullet and ordered a genuine Nikon one - twice the price but I'm much happier with it.

Fait le travail, mais je trouve dommage que le joint en caoutchouc tourne et ne soit pas bien fixé au métal.
