This kit makes 2 surprise squishies. We had never make any kind of slime of anything similar like this before. It comes with everything you need, and any of the messy stuff just gets thrown away at the end, so very minimal mess or clean up. Instructions were super simple. My 4 year old really enjoyed making these. We set a timer for 60 min after pouring them into the mold, and he was excited to open them up and see what they were. He was a little disappointed at the 2 we got (a pig and a chimp I think?), but he had looked through the little booklet with all the possible characters before and was hoping for some other ones. Our 2 colors were neon orange and neon pink. He still has played with them and thinks they’re cute, though he probably would have preferred other colors. That’s okay, it’s good to learn you don’t always get exactly what you would have chosen, but you can still have fun with it. You have slightly more liquid left in the bottom of your plastic cup than what it takes to fill the molds. I let it harden in there for 60min as well and then peeled them out of the plastic cups. This gave us little “stands” the animals can sit on which my son thought was cool. We got this on sale, and I’m happy with the value and quality of it. I’d buy again on another sale!

This DIY squishy kit was a HUGE hit at our house. My 5-year-old was completely obsessed from start to finish—and honestly, I had just as much fun helping. Everything you need is included, and the instructions were simple enough for a kid to follow with a little help. It kept him busy way longer than I expected, which is always a win. He loved getting to create his own design, and of course the best part was squishing it nonstop once it was done. The texture turned out really soft and satisfying, not stiff or weird like I half expected. It actually feels like a real squishy you’d buy in a store. Only heads up—this can get a little messy during the making process, so I’d recommend putting something down first. Totally worth it though. If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on activity that keeps kids entertained and gives them something to play with after, this is a great choice!

They take longer than 60 minutes to fully cure; it's best to leave them overnight- otherwise they're super sticky. These are super cute and easy to do with my boyfriends 5 year old. She loves collecting these now.

This was so fun to do with my child. The functionality made this quick and clean to use. The finished product was great and she played with it even after been created. The instructions were easy to follow and the products were straight forward. We have already ordered refills to make more of them. It is a great gift and a great time to spend with my kid.

I really enjoyed these because they're decently easy to make and they aren't as sticky as some similar things I've tried. They're a lot of fun!

I love little crafts that I can do with my kids. I set this up for them and I did it easily with my 7 and 5 year old. It was perfect for their ages. They didn’t really play with the squishies after but were excited for the surprise an enjoyed the act of making them! It took about 5-10 minutes for the activity then an hour to dry. Quick but everyone was excited and happy!

This was a great snow day activity. Didn’t realize the 6+ age when we purchased, but ended up being a fantastic snow day activity for a 3.5yr old with lots of adult assistance. I think most kids you get than that would get frustrated. There was counting practice while we worked through the steps, practice pouring and then practice waiting for the toy to set. She’s even putting them back in the molds and playing with them that way, like a puzzle. Not too sticky when set, haven’t noticed a smell and so far glitter hasn’t transferred.

The box arrived looking like it had been punted and kicked. Torn and dented edges. But everything was inside. Overall a cool activity but you have to be quick after mixing
