Great product, helped me get my dog off apoquel!

I learned of this supplement from Layla the Boxer's mom. My Cairn has seasonal skin allergies that cause him to scratch and lick incessantly. He is a very picky eater and this product is easy to sprinkle over his food. It must not have much taste, or a disgusting one, because he eats without hesitation. It is very effective and usually calms his scratching/licking in a couple days and ends it in about a week. I only use the product as needed and have ordered it twice in as many years (I think).. I feel it is a good value and keeps him off prescription or OTC allergy medication.

We'll see how this works once the weather warms up but for now, I do think this took the edge off and kept me from having to give my dog daily Apoquel during this past winter. I'm not sure that he loves the taste (it's very green smelling) but if I mix it in with a topper for his kibble he eats fine. My other dog with MCT's wasn't affected by this (good or bad) but since it didn't seem to make a difference for her, I stopped adding it to her food. It certainly lasts longer when only given to one dog! Pricey but overall not a bad product to trial and see if it works for yours.

This product did not improve my dog's health AT ALL. In fact, I observed more scratching by week 2 of using. Silly me! I still gave it to him for a third week. I was so hopeful but just another hyped product that does nothing!

I have fostered some rescue Vizslas with itchy skin. This product significantly reduced itchyness during pollen season when combined with quality fish oil capsules.

Unfortunately in 2026 this product went through both a label and formulation change-- Irish Moss increased by 500%! Its so disheartening when something is working well for your allergy dog that the company makes changes like this, especially without niotice. Too much Irish Moss can cause hives-- the exact thing we're treating. Super disappointed with Four Leaf Rover for doing this and wondering if this is why my dog has been struggling with skin issues since January when we was doing so well before. When there's a change this big in formulation, you need to alert customers on the bottle. Not list it as "proprietary blend".
