What is the magnification of the big lens and what is the magnification for the small lens?

I already know that the small lens is the one that provides 100 times. The larger lens will provide the smaller enlargement... What I need to know before I buy is the amount of room I will have to work on the project under the microscope... Being able to read is one thing, but there is usually not enough room for tools after you focus in.

I need to know the distance I have between the glass and what I am viewing so I have room enough to work on the object under the microscope.

The distance of the lens & your project are relative to the space you allow for proper magnification and the focus of your eye & microscope.

Will this work to see tricones on pot plants

The small one works well for it. Better if you use your phone camera to display it on your phone. I just submitted a review with photos of my trichomes through the glass
