Brilliant bit of kit. I bought it to get my Vw beetle engine in the car and I’ve just ordered caster wheels to make easier but it goes up and down perfectly and not a cheap bit of kit very solid and strong

This lifter is BRILLIANT it's simple to operate very well made its got some weight and that adds to the stability makes working on the motorbike much easier i wish I'd found it a long time ago .the price is very good i can't fault it.

Lifted a 225kg dl650 using the bash plate, and was pretty stable too. Best used with a ratchet socket as the provided tool is a bit slow and fiddly. Since replaced it with paddock stands but it did the required job well.

I bought mine to raise heavy TrueNAS boxes higher to make maintenance easier, because lab lift jacks were far too small. It came in a tough cardboard box with a push-over cardboard lid taped on, which was necessary, because it is noticeably heavy. It was OK to turn the scissor hex bolt, using the supplied box spanner, with no noticeable lube, however it may become much harder under load, so I suggest two adaptions: 1. At least lube the hex-head scissor bolt just where the head touches the deck and along the full length of its thread, with spray-on grease or graphene, because I didn't notice any. Other moving edges may also need lube too, because paint probably isn't a great/lasting lube. 2. Use a long-bar ratchet wrench with correct-sized hex spanner head, instead of the supplied box spanner, to provide a lot more leverage and easier turning, and this may better protect you it a heavy object (e.g. a Motorcycle) falls off it for any reason, while turning the hex-head thread bolt. ================ Update 2026-04-07 Like planned, I also used it whilst building and troubleshooting a new 12-bay NAS box, with the lift on top of an Ottamon-like smooth topped wheeled storage unit, allowing me to adjust the height for both seated and standing work, and also usefully rotate it on top. I later used an ALDI 12V motorised ratchet-wrench, with its 1/2" to 3/4" adapter and 3/4" socket-set spanner head, to raise and lower the lift, because it was faster and easier than using a manual tool. I suspect that some of the breakages reported in some other reviews may have been avoided by separately lubricated the threaded rod and all other areas where friction could be expected to occur, to significantly reduce the forces/friction exerted upon the thread and the resulting forces at its hex head. The manufacturer really should have supplied it pre-lubricated with heavy grease!

A very useful, easy to use and a great value tool. I used it to prop up a sump while working on a car clutch. Perhaps not the intended purpose but well within the products abilities and weight tolerances. What can I say it is a very versatile lift and very stable especially with the lock pin - I appreciate the safety! Lift mechanism works well and makes easy work.

Great quality motorcycle lift/centre jack. Solidly built, very stable and easy to use. It has no problem lifting my Triumph Bonneville T120 and holding it up while I work on it. It includes a rod and corresponding holes to slot it into, which locks the jack at various heights (like an axle stand). Really pleased, especially for the price.

Non pensavo fosse capace, eppure ha contemporaneamente alzato da terra ambedue le ruote della mia moto. Non pesa moltissimo, è davvero solido e ben fatto e non costa molto. La chiave che avvita la vite senza fine può essere fatta girare anche col piede, mentre si tiene la moto in verticale finché il cavalletto non tocca il telaio o la protezione del motore. Un vecchio tappetino auto di gomma messo al di sotto è ciò che basta per essere sicuri che non si muova. Molto soddisfatto!
