I purchased these not for the reason as others. I purchased these so that I could straighten out the pins on a CPU. The size fits perfectly over the pins and was able to salvage a CPU.

I got these for my cat’s Subcutaneous Fluid because of renal failure. The fluids add tremendous quality back to her life while extending it. Think of it as kitty dialysis.Dehydration makes everything uncomfortable. However, these 1/2” 18 gauge needles are perfect. She hardly notices when I stick her - all she knows is she feels better afterwards to the point she gets in her treatment box everytime I go near it. This is because of these needles. Before we used a different brand. She was still good about it but she was reluctant.So, if you are wondering if the reviews are truthful / accurate- I can attest it is good for pets. Sharp. Only negative is some of the caps are really tight. My box was flattened in shipping/ so, maybe it’s just us.In addition, if your pet has renal/ kidney issues- ask your vet about Subcutaneous Q fluids. It’s much easier to give than any medicine. We are organized but start to finish in less than 5 min. Friends often ask me which cat is ill because it’s that effective and affordable (thx 800 pet meds). I recommend 18 gauge because speed. I also warm my bag to 100* for cat in water bath not exposing the port.Pets add so much to our lives. It’s great to add quality to theirs… which sharp needles help!
