Now Smokey has cold water.
Smokey has a "thing" about only wanting to drink cold water so this product was an answer to my dreams. I bought two of them and one is always in the freezer so I can switch the one that has sat on the floor half the day for a fresh cold one. What a great product.

It does keep the water cold but only in the shade.

No significant difference in water temp
There wasn’t a noticeable difference in water temp between this and the plastic bowls I have been using. We have temps in the upper 90’s with 100% humidity and after putting out this bowl and the plastic one and checking the water temps throughout the day, it was not a significant difference. Also, my ferals refuse to use it and I have no clue why. It is a very sturdy and well made product though and might work well for some people although it’s a bit pricey.

Good bowl, but paint is bubbling and peeling
I've had this dog bowl for less than six months and the paint is now bubbling and peeling off it. I like the quality of the construction of the bowl itself, but it's a pretty big disappointment aesthetically now. It's outside of the return window at this point, otherwise I definitely would have exchanged it at this point.
