My Faithful Canine Companions Sid and Lexi enjoy Wellness Thick & Chunky Natural Canned Dog Food, Venison & Salmon Stew as part of their daily nutrition. Very aromatic and packed full of protein slices, potatoes, carrots, and yummy gravy. I gently warm it up a bit with the rest of their home-made meals. If you have a doggy with a very small mouth, the protein slices would be easy to dice for a smaller mouthful. A great value, too. I highly recommend this Venison and Salmon Stew.

I have been feeding this canned food to my 3 kids for a while now.. Beef, salmon venison, turkey. They really like the flavor and the food is great quality. My recent subscribe & save order had 10 out of 12 turkeys and 10 of 12 beef with dented cans. No damage to box, packed well so they were dented at factory. SHAME on you Wellness for shipping this out. SHAME!! And I paid good money for cans that should have been in the clearance rack. They may be dogs but I dont want them to get food poisoning. SHAME!

Wellness is a reliable pet food brand. Switched Bill Beagle, my elderly dog, to this because it contains no chicken, which he is sensitive to and which gives him gas, rumbly belly, and diarrhea. I also like the pull-top lid. It's grain free, so I add cooked steel cut oats (Bob's Red Mill) and canned pumpkin (usually Libby's) for more veggies. That, and a little CBD oil for pain, keeps him going at 16 years and change.

Our Labradoodle loved this can food (which I mix with some dry food) from the moment we got it. The only reason why I did not give it five stars is because the chucks of Venison are a bit large and we have to cut it to smaller size. Great choice.

My Cheaspeake's LOVE this canned venison stew! All I have to do is grab the can from the shelf, and magically two furry Chesapeake's materialize from nowhere! I have to say the cans are well packed with lots of chunky meat. The cuts are much larger than the normal diced meat you find in Wellness stews...its more like strips, which is fine for my guys as it slows them down when eating...they have to chew more. But for a smaller dog I would recommend chopping it up a bit. There is also a balanced ratio of meat to gravy. Trust me, when you open this can you are getting a lot of meat, and not just a can full of gravy. I like to add some warm water to the meat, which thins out the stew and just makes it even more appetizing. Overall, this can food gets 4 Chessie Paws Way Up!!

Dog was not liking this food

Great food for our dog who is allergic to beef and chicken. Lately, however, the cans appear to be filled with less food and more gravy. It’s a bit costly. They should supply a full can.

My dog loves this stew. Wellness is great quality, and I have done my research. Our dog has cancer and we only feed him the BEST. Do your research too and you will only feed your dog high quality foods such as wellness. This particular flavor is also great for dogs that have food allergies because Venison is not a common allergen.

Fussy dog loves it !

Good product and our dog likes it but there is way too much gravy in the can. Sometimes our dog will leave it in her bowl because of the gravy. Limited ingredient is good for those looking for a wet dog food for dietary issues.
