Keepin' the beat.
I was impressed with the sounds I was able to capture with this set. All of the mics are well build and designed. I wouldn't call these "professional" microphones, but they are a step up from "entry level".I have tried these on a small trap set as well as recording some additional percussion instruments (tambourine, egg shakers, maracas, etc.), and I set up a cajon and picked up some good sounds with the bass mic by the hole in the back, and a couple snare mics by the front (one close, one farther away). The case is a nice addition. I don't have to wonder if I remembered everything when I pack up. I look at the case and see that all the holes in the foam are filled. Yup, got it all.I'm not a technical guy. I can't talk about the specs and how they compare with other mics. I can tell you they pick up what I want in order to create awesome drum tracks. They are perfect for me. I will check this brand when I'm looking for other gear as well. The quality is there, the high price is not.

Good purchase
If you’re looking for something affordable and functional, these are a solid choice. The price is spot on, and they do exactly what I need. I have them set up in my drum room for casual playing at home — I haven’t recorded with them yet, so we’ll see how they hold up in that setting. The stands are a bit on the flimsy side, but honestly, for the price, it’s hard to complain.

A good set of drum mics to have around
These are a fairly good set of drum mics to have around if the pricing is within your budget. I would say to expect to do some post-production eq on these. The set has 1 x kick drum mic, 2 x clip-on mics, and 2 x overhead mics. The kick drum mic works ok but I do need to boost a bit in 60 hz and cut a bit in the 250 hz. The clip-on mics work fine for toms but I wouldn't use them for the snare drum. There are a lot of complexities to go into making a good snare sound and I don't find the clip-on mics to be sufficient in capturing those nuances. The overhead mics work fine to pick up some cymbals and the pickup patterns are good enough to get a bit of drum sounds as well.As stated above, these are not a bad set to have around especially if you're a drummer. With good drum tuning and some slight post-production EQ, you can get a pretty usable track in a recording session.
